510 pin on the Talos is too short to reach the STM RBA base.
Would have to push it up, till the pin is below the threading.
Next time I try it, I'll try a longer pin from a Subtank base.
Or put a spot of solder on the end of the Talos pin.

Got them both at MVS. I'm sure they will take care of it. I buy a lot from them.

Just to go on record, Kat shared some info with me that explains perfectly why the Rolo prices are plummeting. Apparently these things are far from without issue, and I wouldn't want to be responsible for anyone buying one due to my glowing reviews.

With the rush to market on so many new things (to come under the deeming regs cut-off), I fear that this is going to happen with a lot of things.
Right now, I'm pleased to say that my rollo is working well. If they stay in production, I will probably order another, but not until this first batch has had time to go through the system.
Maybe time for that Innokin CF 18650? I rather like mine, even if it isn't an SBS or SBS-ish. I only say that because with 7 weeks to go we may not see anything like the XVOstick released...anything half decent, anyway.
That's basically where we're headed, Stealthy. That was the original plan, but I was seriously considering switching to another Rolo. VERY bummed about the problems, but even at $30, I'm not spending on something that stands a good chance of breaking.
Innokin equals quality (in my eyes), so we'll simply revert back to that original plan. We're waiting for a friend/vendor to receive his stock, because we want to support him. He didn't order many so I'm sure they'll sell quickly anyway, but if we're going to buy that mod, we're buying it from him.
And I'm pretty sure that will be it for me. Room for one more, and am already more than adequately stocked. I retired one Xvo already, to be pulled out when the first dies. That mod has become a daily-essential for me, along with the BBs. I alternate days between them, as the vape is just different enough (between them) to keep me very, very happy. Yesterday was a BB day, today will be Xvo. I've been doing this for some time now.
Bring on the CF 18650! I already know I'll love it, based on my experiences with the other CFs I have. I'm glad you're liking yours too!
If they make it in before the deadline, and the price point stays where it is, I may join you.

I'm a zebra fan. Like it far better than the red and black.
I'm looking at the CF 18650 too. Love the original but I hear that it eats up battery life. Probably something else that was rushed to production.
