They did comment (buried in the hundreds of comments already) that the DNA25 will likely come in $230-240 (they're still in final discussions). I'm guessing that would put the DNA40 around $275 (or less).
I know it's a lot of money, but to say these things are well built is a ridiculous understatement. They're almost works of art.

With a 40 chip, and backwards compatibility with all the existing atties, this is a home run (by almost every measure).

Hmmm, anyone care to point me in the direction of something rebuildable? I've never seen anything for the BB but haven't really looked either.
For the rebuilders, this is the most popular option (by Ohman). I don't use one (I'm a blister-packer), but I hear it's amazing. Users include Mr. BB himself (he known as Doug Dino).
My personal preference is for this simple little thing, which uses Aspire BVC (smaller, not Nautilus) coils.

Some people have wrestled with the Divers in the BB, which is what prompted Konstantinos to create the Billet Bridge, which is tremendously popular.
I know little to nothing about the BB so is having the screen right below the tank a good thing? That looks like an accident waiting to happen.Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Assuming he makes it with the same extraordinary precautions as the Rev 3 (and earlier), I'm not concerned at all. I've dumped entire tanks out, by accident, and needed to do nothing but wipe them down and start using it again. His attention to detail is on par with the very best things I've owned, and he remains personally available by phone if anyone ever has any issues.
In fact, when one dials the "Support" number on the website, it's his cell phone. His users will tell you that the conversations can be legendary (he lacks not for entertainment value).
One of my kids busted theirs up pretty badly, to the point where the door got bent. I didn't think it would even be able to be fixed, but he said to send it in.
It was out of my hands, then back in, in less than a week. It was also in better condition than when it left.
My experience with BBV and with Doug Dino is precisely the same as DPL's, and I've been fortunate to have been connected to them/him for the last 3 years (from the original inception of the B Box).
In fact, today is my original's birthday!
There is an extraordinary amount of detail that went into this piece of art, in addition to the most marvelous functionality. I HIGHLY doubt that the chip location will be any sort of problem. The Rev4 has been tested (rigorous testing) for months now.
