I don't like the Disguiser at all, I would use it perhaps as a door stop. ;)
Different vaping styles and needs I guess, the disguiser offers nothing I want.
The BB is smallish sleek and way saxy. The price seems fair for it.

:)
Yup... different strokes and all...

As an artist, I know that a lot of work goes into making a beautiful piece of art, and I'm not afraid to pay for a beautiful piece of art. I'm guessing the V4 will be in the $300 range. I have a hard time paying current prices for yesterday's tech (DNA40) no matter how it's packaged. With a DNA40, we're still limited to Ni200 in TC, and I am so ready to see Ni200 gone. Of course, it can still be used with SS and NiChrome, and Kanthal, but only in wattage mode. It would be akin to buying a 386 PC because it came in a cool case, IMO.

Now, if it offered something else... like a lifetime warranty or an included suite of parts...

I agree that the Disguiser is huge, and perhaps to some ugly, but, at 6'3" and 220#, so am I. My hand, when outstretched, is nearly 11" from tip of thumb to tip of pinky. This device, to carry the analogy forwarf, is like buying a Core i5 in an ugly case... and getting a HUGE discount because of the case.

Like I said, I have been told over and over again to get BB, and I will eventually. And, I'm sure I'll love it. But I'll still have to get over that sticker shock...

Quite honestly I'm surprised anyone can put the BB in the same category or sentence as the Disguiser. BB is renowned for its quality & craftsmanship justifies the price tag...(IMO) the Disguiser is a cheap throwaway mod.

Pintos and Mercedes run on the same gas and travel the same roads. In the end, if it gets you where you're going...

Same here. BB is a beautiful piece, and Plato may be decent too, but I'm not interested in marrying an atomizer type, and certainly not a company.

Also, Disguiser may well be a better candidate for dual battery squonker conversion than RX200, which requires a board change. That's a point of interest to a mere handful of us, but still...
I could easily see a cage and riser combo for the squonk bottle and rda... good idea...

I agree with both points of the argument: no the Disguiser is not in the same class as the BB, it's cheaply made, it's not a beauty, it's huge, it's an entirely different thing.
However I do see the point about the BB using yesterday's technology......but still it is a beauty, and probably very well made, and that last point is very important to me.
They are just two different things, I can't imagine if you are looking for a particular type of mod you'll end up choosing between those two.

If I had to make a comparison it would be against the Plato they have lots of things in common, it's pocketable, it has a proprietary tank system, about het same capabilities in wattage/TC....technology wise I would prefer the Plato, quality/appearance would however go the the BB...and than it all depends of what you find more important....I'm leaning towards the BB

Comical toodle puffer here I guess. The DNA 40 is really way more board than I need, I ran TC for several months and decided it did not benefit me in any way, 40 watts is a least twice as much heat as I use. I'm at 7 watts ATM :D

If I carry your analogy forward it's like buying a Core i5 to read a couple of emails a week.
I'm 6'2", 9.75 inches from thumb tip to pinky tip. I enjoy long walks on the beach... err oops wrong forum.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Yeah, but I made you measure :)

It's not what you use, but what's available. Buying a 386 to read your couple of emails each week is all well and fine until you NEED to do something beyond a couple emails.

Like the Pinto and the Mercedes ... OK, the Kia and the Mercedes (How's that?)... both have speedometers that go past 75, and you may never need to exceed 20, but if there's ever a need to do so, it's nice to know that romping on the pedal will get you gone...

How do you kid? To me, it's the disguiser... dual battery, 150 watts, TC, bigger choice of atties, lower price.

I mean, I really really want a BB, and I'll eventually have one, but I have a hard time justifying the price.

They announced the price now???

How much are they?
