OK, question. How many $50 mods do you have?
Please don't go there? I was just doing similar math in my head as this convo has been going on trying to figure out how to justify the outlay...

Bunches. And for those bunches I could have had 1 BB, maybe 2... 3 even. And, when 1 became damaged, I would have a backup... but I would still be limited to that one style of vaping. As it is, I can switch and swap vaping styles as well as mods on a whim.

1 nice mod v. 6 fair mods? Me... I take the 6 fair...

Older ones only. I've had three, all flawless. Nothing's perfect, of course, but they did fix the early problems.

And it's a tremendously smooth vape.
I had one... it was nice... just a bit restrictive for me.

I'm not sure I know of any vapers who own only 2 devices. I certainly can turn on a dime as well (vape style wise). I doubt having a B Box would imhibit those choices. :)
Doesn't the BB have options? I thought I saw the bridge for BVC, a kanger thing if you wanted to use those coils and a rebuildable section?

If I were to compare anything I think it would be the Plato and the BB, same basic concept, one hand made, gorgeous, and serviceable by an individual, and one mass made (in China) and probably a disposable if something goes wrong. That is not a cut, I want both, pretty bad, but...

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

You are accurate, poke. There are options now for the atty, and I'm guessing with the launch of the BB4 there will be even MORE atty choices. (I love the B Bridge with BVCs.)

We all know full well the value of excellent CS. BBV is on par with Provape, and perhaps even a touch above. That I know from actual experience.

I want a Veyron. I'll never have one.

Never say never, DP. Wismec makes one.

And there's nothing wrong with that. But you will definitely know the difference in quality, and it's nice to have both.

Just to be clear, I'm not snobbing with my vape. I wouldn't give up any of my cheapies (I love them all, and have plenty). But they would definitely be jettisoned before the good stuff.

Regarding the 386 comparison, I'll take a well made DNA40 over a cheap 100 watt jobber every day of the week. But, like @Woofer, I too am "comical tootle puffer" (I like that, Woof!), so the numbers are worthless to me. The vape quality, consistency, and overall build of a mod though?

Priceless.
