I'm perfectly able to enable thy self

If Limelights latest was 21700, I would jump.

For me, pocket-carry is an essential element for the SbS mods I purchase. Small and light are best. I also prefer rounded mods, since they'll be in my pocket.

I have other mods for other stuff.

Below are a Union 21700 next to a TEK Endurance 18650. The Union weighs a bit more (still light though, compared to many), but they're very similar in size and design.

My Limelight SbS DNA60 arrived via DHL this morning.........

That's the basic SbS model. I have a Dvarw DL RTA, looking all purdy in a full-metal jacket, sitting on top.

IMG_4530cr.jpg

With the optional walnut insert. Squape Arise RTA on top.

Like all Limelight products, it is very well built. There are many optional sleeves (walnut, colored and stabwood) and other goodies available for the SbS. I will be purchasing several.

It is, no doubt, the most well thought out SbS design to-date. Dejan is a freakin' genius!!!

Limelight high quality through-and-through. I took mine apart to see how easy it would be to swap between an Evolv DNA60 and a Dicodes BF60....... very very easy. Each board is mounted on a sled, no soldering req'd, just unscrew the cntrl section from the base, slide one out and the other in. Also easy to swap a chip from its sled (if need be).

I had mine up and running with my preferred Evolv Escribe DNA60 settings within minutes. That's just a simple task to backup the Limelight settings and then upload my settings from a saved DNA60 profile. As with all my DNA mods, she's running temp control. The DNA60 version ships with an encased Evolv USB chip for connecting to Escribe.

For me, the fire button is in the perfect location. 100% perfect for middle finger fire or base of the thumb firing. The mod is super comfy in-hand. The 510 is adjustable, making it so you can position an RBA's airflow holes where you want them to be. It ships with 2 stainless steel adapters, one for 22mm tanks and the other for 24mm tanks.

With all the numerous optional add-ons, one could totally change the look of the SbS for weeks without circling back.

Would I recommend the Limelight SbS? Oh yes, I most certainly would!!!

Did I mention I really like it?

Thanks DP!!!

And her name is Annaline, which means "Graceful and Beautiful".

LOL, as a nod to the other thread, I totally had to choose a Danish girls name.

ETA: Yeah I know, the mod is from Serbia, I'm sure the Serbs won't mind the Danish name.

I've been eyeing a few side-by-side mods myself lately. From what I've researched, the Dovpo College DNA60 and the Vaporesso Armour Pro seem to be popular choices. Both offer a compact design and solid performance.

Welcome to ECF, SbS Grasshopper. There are many things you shall come to know, and much SbS knowledge in this particular thread.

For one thing, the Armour Pro is not a SbS mod. :)

The attached PDF is too small to read, but readily available in a well known and travelled Facebook group. This one is 3 months old but still has almost 400 SbS mods in it. A new SbS mod hits the market approximately every 96 seconds. ;)

from left to right
Rusmods Union 3.3-MECHLYFE Paramour-Vapefly Brunhilde
61gr-100gr-145gr
All 21700 and all of them have battery tube. I don't like open/semi open battery style mods.

Union is too good to be true for me. I don't know how long it would take to break but i am seriously thinking to get another one.

For one thing, the Armour Pro is not a SbS mod. :)

When I saw his post I seemed to recall a very old Armor SbS. Last night I couldn't remember who made it.

Then this morning, after very strong BLACK coffee, it suddenly came to me!!!

Remember the Kangertech Arymi Armor mod???

Coffee truly has magical properties!!!

You got the Starplat one, yes? Or did they add a front button to the DNAs now?

I don't know if my experiences are the norm, but mine have been extremely tough. I DO use mod protectors on them (as on EVERYTHING these days), but they've held up much better than some other SbS mods I've had. I'd say only the Xvos are tougher, and it's not really fair to compare since those are hermetically sealed.

This, of course, is just one man's opinion. :)

I'm good at remembering totally useless info. Ask me where I put my car keys when I need them, not so much.

I had an early call with a colleague who doesn't usually turn on her camera. This morning she said, "Let's go cams on!" I had NO idea if I'd shaved this morning.

Yet I can rattle off lines from idiotic movies such as Johnny Dangerously at the drop of a hat, with ZERO notice.

Yep - I get it.

The issue with side-by-side mods is they either have to come with an atty you like, or you have to know the atty you want to put on it will fit a given mod. They’re also almost always single battery, though with 21700s that’s less of an issue because a 21700 is about like 1.5 18650s

It's Union 3.3 which is starplat. They stopped producing DNA Union 3.0
I am gonna compare starplat with dna75 about battery life, TC mode performance in the future.
