i started with and ego and became increasingly upset with having to keep refilling cartos. i Then learned about tanks and started with them. flavor is lost a little but i dont have time to refill all day. i then got a an ego twist and thought my problem were far away. Until two months later it broke and the company offered me a prorated warranty of three dollars in store credit. thanks EMPIREmods! THen, i was as frustrated as you. but i watched countless hours of Phil bursado on you tube. and he helped me find the young june vv PV. which i used for months loving every minute of it. i exchanged that for a v max and also coughed up the extra cash for a provari! which was the best thing i ever did! i love vaping and am thankful for the help i had! Ther are some good options for juice. I love mistereliquid.com and alien vison juice! any questions just ask!

What makes the Go-Go system different from other 808 systems? The Go-Go Tank looks a lot like the X2 Clearomizer from Smokeless Image. I didn't care for that because it leaked a lot.

J.R.

Relatively Simple answer; The GO-go is a proprietary system (1300 Mah Battery).... much larger than other 808 systems (which at a glance appears to be what the VOLT is).... so I'm pretty sure those Volt Clearomizers wouldn't fit the GO-go ... and secondly, the Vendor. ;)

If you're afraid of the Tanks because you've had issues with other Vendor's Tanks, opt for the pre-filled GO-Carts.... no ucky filler taste and they don't leak either

I feel your pain Zelphie and that's WHY I'm going to 'simplify' all this eCig insanity with some YouTube Vids soon.

Basically there are only TWO eCig 'systems' when you break the whole industry down in a nutshell... They work like this; You pop an atty or Cartomizer on & they work reliably and deliver consistently & you go on about your day... ideally, that's what we're seeking right?

These 'systems' are '808' systems and '510' systems. It's that simple. Now I know there are HUNDREDS of what appear to be "OTHER" eCig systems out there (eCig #401, 402, 403, RN 4081, DSE 901, 801D-1... this goes on forever it seems... lol) but they really don't matter where it matters most.... because! They're still SMALLER or larger VARIATIONS of the TWO main 'sytems'.... 510 or 808.... (Be they super mini or super maxed variations of the two major vaping technologies out there, which again is, 808 & 510).... and that's why I'm trying to simplify what appears to be an extremely complicated matter, but isn't in actuality. They're all just 'batteries' (the bigger, the better... for real )... and atomizer/cartomizer/tanks. Add Juice & go, right?

Forget about all the other 'complicated' things like Ohms and stuff like that.... we're still breakin' it down to 2 systems, without the HUNDREDS of variations & other things that complicate & confuse... OK? (Whew!) :-x

Cartomizers USED to be nasty because of the fillers.... I've found 'certain' vendors carry Cartomizer/808 'systems' that deliver the SAME satisfaction, vapor & flavor as dripping. For real! I KNOW, this wasn't the case in the beginning but it is the case now... and it isn't my 'subjective' experience.. it's a fact. Now, the Juices are what make the vaping experience 'different' for people... I don't care WHAT system you vape... you WILL have to "go it alone" finding the 'right' Juice for you.

So here's the gist that burst my eCig bubble when I realized it in a nutshell... (and after spending THOUSANDS and experimenting with everything before I realized how to simplify it all)

Even if you LOVE 510 systems (and I used to), just hear me out.

Simply put, EVERYONE wants an eCig that they can pop a Cartomizer or clear Tank on and go all day (or more!) without worrying about carrying around tons of juices and extra atties, batts, what have you ... So, if that's REALLY what you want and you're not so entangled in eCig Gobbledeeygook that you can open your mind to receive this, then MOST PEOPLE would get an 808 system or an 808 system on steroids... namely the GO-go... lol The GO-go vaping experience (using the new GO-Tank system) is EXACTLY like dripping on a 510 atty... without the HASSLE & mess & inconvenience of dripping on a 510 atty. The GO-Cartomizers are almost as good, the only difference is the 'drag' is a little airier... that small 'difference' has been 'fixed' with the new whistle tips you can get.

I believe the VENDOR makes all the difference with these TWO simple systems.... I found mine, but you may prefer another.

A lot of you will think I oversimplified this delicate subject ... and you're entitled to that.... but at the end of the day, most of you know in your heart of hearts that I'm right.... ;)

Best of luck & happy vaping Zelphie! :smokie:

Oh! I just noticed you wanted to know 'my' exact system... here's the link to it below;

GO-GO KIT - If you do decide you want to try it, then specify the Premium GO-Tanks (which are better than the Cartos) during check out.

This is basically an 808 system on Steroids!
If that's too big a battery for you, then order the "Elite" 808 ;)

Well said, and thank you. I do prefer 808 threads even in big batteries. I generally have more manuals but am urrently on an auto jag so I got an echo but didnt know what to pair it with so its just sitting here refusing to fully charge. Was thinking clear 808 ce4 clear cartomizer/tank or echo duel coils. Is the go go tank just a rebranded name for the ce4's? Will keep that i mind. Started with 510 threads but 808 got me.

I am a notorious juice hater. I buy and buy and try and seem to hate every flavor from almost everyone (no,.. not high maintenance in real life though lol) but right now I have some mr e-liquid coming my way so lets keep our fingers crossed! What flavors do you like from mr e-liquid?

I went through the same crap, so I sympathize completely, OP.

Also, I think Apathetic Cardigan is the single coolest username of all time. :)

Good luck.

I agree, I like the name too.

And it reminds me, the OP wanted to know WHY certain devices, models, ohms, mahs, blah, and blahs, works with this and that, and there are detailed info IN ENGLISH and even watts+ohms=watts charts made by vets I no longer see around, and for the numbers of new devices that are out now, they all still build on those basics. (not that I remember or even read them all)I think they may be stickies somewhere, but I forgot where.

I know how frustrating all of this can be,,,,,,

the WHYS are often simply,,,,,,,,,personal preference. I prefer the Volt 1300 X2 with cartos,,,,it lasts long enough to go the whole day,,,,,it's simple, easy, and all I have to do is fill the carto several times a day. I've tried CE3's and they're ok,,,,,,,but difficult to refill if out and about,,,,,,,,,,so I use them only at home, and use cartos everywhere else.

My suggestion is to try DIY on the juices,,,,,,,you can add as much flavor as you want,,,,,a couple drops of lemon juice in the bottle will make fruit flavors pop too. DIY is simple,,,,,,,,,,,just start with small batches (5ml) until you get the flavor you want. You can make your juice with more or less PG/VG (I like 60PG/40VG because it makes tons of vapor and yet carries the flavor well). Start out with single flavors,,,,,,,,,for you, I'd start with 10% flavor, and if that's not enough, bump to 13 or 15%,,,,,,,,,,get a good juice calculator and it's really a piece of cake.

Also, as others mentioned, your taste buds go on vacation sometimes. sigh. it happens to the best of us,,,,,,drink lots and lots of water (vaping dehydrates), and switch flavors often.

Hey OP, I read 6 pages and hit reply, I apologize if your questions have already been answered.

You want "clouds of vapor" and "good flavor". Please define "cloud", as an example, I will include 3 photos.

No vapor

Vapor

If the middle picture is what you want, Ego-c upgrade 1000mah, running in 3.4v, CE6 clearomiser with a 2.8ohm atty, Dekang menthol juice (50/50). I draw softly and slowly, I prefer the higher resistance, gives better flavor, but not as much "throat hit". The CE6 uses vivi nova heads, which I believe you said you owned one of those.

I hope this helps.

Running out of flavor....taste buds crapping out? DRINK! Yes, that vapor is condensing on your tongue and coating it...after a few hours of vaping, the flavor in any juice is going to seem to disappear if your taste buds are covered in condensed pg/vg. Drink water, tea, whatever. Swish it around in your mouth a bit to rinse off your tongue. It works. Plus, vaping will dehydrate the mucous membranes in your mouth, throat and sinuses. Keep hydrated!

Also, try exhaling part or all of your vapor through your nose. It plays with the tongue in helping you to "taste."

Just my honest opinion to get you over the hump..... I still have bad days too when everything seems to go wrong.
OK, so it sounds like the OP doesn't care for tanks and wants to use cartos, but doesn't want to give up the convenience of a tank's juice capacity. The cartos in the link below are easy to fill and keep moist. They also have pretty good flavor and life for a carto. Get some needle tip bottles for easy filling if you want and let your cartos sit for a while to absorb evenly in the filler. Find a solid pv with a higher amp limit or even look into a mechanical mod with a "Kick" and you should have a pretty fuss-free and consistent vape. I went through many of the trials and errors you speak of. I'm 8 months in now and just got into rba's (did clones) but I still love my cartos in tanks. I only vape tobacco juices(Halo, BWB, Mom&Pop, AVE, Vapor Station, Ikenvape, Goodejuice, HHV, and a local B&M). Fruits and desserts just didn't do it for me.....STEEP YOUR JUICE!!!! Best of luck to you.

Yes, the Volts are 808s. They have bigger batts in their range too, the X2s, up to 1300 mah:

SI comparison.jpg

I prefer a vivi nova with a 808-510 adapter over the clearos. I'll try the 808 T3s with them tho.
Haven't tried a Go-Go - sounds like it's similar to the larger Volts X2s but the Go Go has its own proprietary tank?

When I started vaping I came HERE to get all my answers and I have NEVER had your problems. All my flavors are great all the batteries are great and all the info here is wonderful! Almost 3 months of no stinkies and I have Never thought of going back. Free your mind and the rest will follow. Vape on

Congrats on 3 months! This is a great community and I've had some really good help here too. Just yesterday a bunch of folk pointed me to some good Dekang vendors.
