Howzit taste, girl? Actually those DO look interesting. Thank you, Kent, for bringing those to our attention. I'd definitely be an early adopter/beta tester on them (price dependent tho.....).

OMG, that was funny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I'm a member of this small club. I've had SO few bad coils, it's redonculous. They have (for the most part) been flawless for me.

And speaking of which..... why the fear that coils are suddenly going to go away? Why this particular piece of gear? I'd much more fear the lack of available vliquid and nic.

And what did Missy Miss answer to that?

You 'should' have and I'm a bit surprised you did not.

That IS sad, chanel. Provi Mini? No extension cap(s)?

Of all my collection, I know that my Provis are the ones that will stand the test of time. They may or may not be one's PREFERRED mod, but take them out of my basket? I dun THIN so. Nevah!
well yes it is a mini and yes I have an extension cap. Just never got around to buying the odd size batteries. when I bought it (classies) I was inexperienced and thought extension cap meant I could use both 18650 and the littler 18350. Both of which I had in abundance from other devices (Vamo) I have none of the other batteries that it uses with the extension (what size are those anyway?) and just never got around to buying any because it does not seem like they are much bigger to make much difference. Do they? Maybe that is what I need to get next

Next size up would be 18500. Whether you can find them in a high enough mAh rating to make a big difference is the question. I don't use either (although I have a small few of each), so haven't kept up on the ratings available now.

AW has some 18amp 1200mAh 18500s, good price on them at sweet-vapes.com.

I need to find a pic. I swear ...... it's a little tiny travel hair dryer!!!!!!!

I can relate. I can't count how many times I've had conversations like that. I can put on their shoes enough to empathize that it's different for everyone and throat hit, whatever's is important to them even though I hate it for me. But the reverse? Noooooo. Please, don't expect me to believe you are getting any flavor from max vg mixed with as much air as possible and then vaping in a style that misses all the taste receptors. They can taste .... and I'm going to waste money on their juice and hardware suggestions? The worst part is they are not merely explaining, they are insisting! Unless I join them, I am wrong.

I run into this with rebuilders too. Every thread turns into a thread about coils even if it's device oriented. I find that as exciting as cleaning toilets. I'm not afraid to do it, I'm procrastinating until I have to. I've got a stash here. I've got a little stash of cartos and tanks too for CYA. But right now I figure we are in the golden age of vaping and I want to enjoy the convenience of commercial coils as long as I can. I want t o push manufacturers to the max of development. I don't expect anyone else to share my opinion so why do I feel I have to defend mine? Why does every thread turn into coils - not just a few posts but pages and pages until the original topic is lost? I abandon most threads anymore. Sorry.

I think what got me was I got a friend started vaping. Gave her gear and wanted to hook her up with a b&m. Poor kid, she was overwhelmed with egos and evods, and I knew I had to get her into flavors fast. We went to two stores, very nice and sincerely helpful people but all they had were mechs at the time and rebuildables. They had tons of juices and none of them had any intense flavors that recent smokers need. Nothing over 12mg. Average was $20/30ml. Ouch. I had given her some leftover stuff and she played with some of my stash so she was expecting flavor. Watching them try and get her into battery safety and coiling was surreal. We brought isticks and nautluses with us and they didn't have that stuff. Nope, one guy went to the back room and brought out an old 650 ego and ce4 which he gave to her. This is how people are supposed to quit now?

I still have a few old disposable baugway ce4's for a mech I have. I threw that together and the flavor was intense. I wish they still made those. I think it's vital to vaping's survival that we never completely loose sight of why we vape.

IMO cloud chasing has it's place, but it's more like a sport than THR. A lot of our equipment development is derived from those that push it to the next level. They are the vocal enthusiasts that spend mega money, that manufacturers here. Just like car racing or dog breeding or any other industry. That should be reflected in equipment like a 200w mod sold as pro or exhibition level. It's not mom and pop stuff, I question if TC is ready for main stream.

Anyway, goodnight all. [emoji99]

aik, I LOVE your post. Wish I could put a quadruple LIKE on it. Well thought out, well said, honest, and so true.

As many on here are aware, I am totally a tootle puffer. I normally rock an Achilles or a clearo. I was learning how to blow clouds as the shoot went on. It was my first time ever using TC. The shoot was an exercise in lighting for his students.

Funny Stuff TWP :laugh::laugh:

I'm going to drop one more on you guys. When I wasn't paying attention, he snapped a few frames and one of them produced this shot that I'm calling "Vapor in the Mist" :D

Marvelous.

Welp, I'm late to answer you, and you've now received the info (18490s/18500s), and they aren't really such an odd size.

However, for the Provi, it's really just all about preference. With my Ti, I have the extensions to do all sized batts. You can get that with the P3s as well. I happen to like the Mini size. My bestie however, doesn't see the big deal with the tiny increase in size vs. using the longer lasting (18650) batt.

Both ideas make sense. ;)

Agreed. Definitely!

Gerry, you've gotta stop playing with these crapfire and fizzfire and startafire batteries. Use good reliable cells, like AW, from good reliable vendors, like RTD, not the Firemakers Industries seller on Amazon.

Oh Gerry, I do apologize, but I'm abstolutely in agreement here with the Turtle One. No one has ever been pleased or felt safe with the "Fire" batts. I don't think the savings are worth it, not ever.

VaporBeast’s newest deal of the day is another nice one. They have the Heatvape Defender 50W Box Mod in stock and on sale for $22.17. But, use the coupon code “YEAHBABY” at checkout and the price drops to just $19.95. And, they have four different colorways to choose from: black, blue, red & silver. Seriously, less than $20 for a 50 watt box mod that can fire atomizers as low as 0.3 ohm.
