Selly the Smelly Welly, DPL-y.

Or crush it. Whichever comes first. ;)

alden, pleasure to see you here!

And you, too, VP. :)

aik, I think the review I promised you has now been delivered, eh?

but, but, but it's so d*mn cute!
I was eyeing the Coupor but I really wanted the option to exceed 30w. That's leaving the Kbox.
There's a good chance that manufacturers will learn a lot for the next round of itty bitty's. I just can't see mega mods coming back  but then I was never fond of them before either.

Well I plan to have a fair amount of fun with the For Sale thread, so please save all your SASE's, as you'd be wasting a stamp. I'm not sure when I'll get to it, but hopefully this weekend.

I'm glad you all like your screwy, smelly mods. :D

And don't take me too seriously. I'm sure it's a fine mod. It's just not for me.

And I probably should have clarified up front that one of the reasons I prefer a mod with replaceable batteries is that I will use that feature, 25-50% of the time (depending on circumstances).

Not being able to, or having to jump through hoops to do so, literally defeats the purpose for me. USB charging stinks (I'm SPOILED by the ridiculously fast EPMs), and sometimes I want a fresh battery (for whatever reason).

Using a quarter for the SX Mini is about as far as I want to go. Screws? No. THESE screws? 'ELL NO!!!

Having to hit the button 5 times when in the sleep mode is a deal breaker for me.

It goes into sleep mode without being prompted?

I think not (for me).

Maybe I'd better starting thinking that I'm perfectly satisfied with my mod selection, and stop shopping now. Tis a sad day indeed. :-(

For people who have not heard, ECF is changing their forum software. Looks like next week. There are several threads announcing it, but I have been following this one that retired1 is explaining how to do things in the new software.

Might be a good idea to download all your private messages, because if they do port over, if you have them organized in any way, they will come through not organized. I downloaded my private messages as text, organizing them as I went along by person, conversation, topic, whatever, opened them with Notepad and saved them with a file name so I know what messages they are. Maybe not the most efficient way to do it, but that's what I did. You can download them in other formats and hope they import, but messages will be treated differently than the current software.

I personally applaud ECF's effort to stay current. The new software is supposed to handle other platforms, like tablets and phones, easier. Perhaps we can do away with Tapatalk (YEAH!!!!!). We shall see.

Just FYI....

Been following that also, looks like a good change, but is going to be a learning experience.
