For me, it was the big steps at the bottom, 7 to 15, as I recall. The way I build and vape, 7 is too low, 15 too high.

Well, actually it was because it WAS steps, big steps!
Makes sense. I, never thought of using it with my higher ohm set ups that require lower wattages. I still have 3 istick 20w (2 from the original shipment) that I use for those.

I'm not sure why everyone complained about the original kbox. I bought one for less than $20, to begin down the replaceable battery road, and it is a great little device! It doesn't feel cheap to me, I know you can't fine tune it, but for a run around mod I'm really liking it!!

But doesn't it limit you to pre-set wattages? That's why I completely disregarded it -- it's like 7w, 13w, 20w or something odd like that... 7w isn't enough, 13w is way too much, and 20w would fry my bronchioles.

Oh, come ON. You CAN'T stop THERE.

:pop:

For any who followed the Original iStick20 thread, you may recall that I was one of the First (the First?) to take an iStick20 apart.

iStick_1.JPG

Unfortunately, the concept of Hardwire Battery to the Circuit Board, causing the Board to be "Hot", momentarily eluded me in my Haste to Explore the Inner Workings of the iStick20.

So when I Probed the Button Actuators with a Metal Dental Pick, I inadvertently released the Magic Smoke.

Thus causing me to have the Honor of holding Three Dubious Titles.

1 - One of the First (the First?) persons on the ECF to take an iStick20 apart.

2 - The First Person to Fry an iStick20.

3 - The First Person to Re-Order an iStick20 because they had Fried theirs.

As I've found the "perfect" topper in the GS Tank...I have NO interest in the Subtank Nano (ie. the topper in the Kit).

Has anybody run across a site with the KBOX Nano (ie. the Mod) available for sale separately???

my Defenders bought near the same time, live on, and feel better in my hand

Kent...I'm assuming you're talking the Defender 25W/36W.

Have you tried the Defender 50W? If you have...how do you find its "hand feel"?

Using code MAXY will drop the price to $28.06...

Magic 8 ball: (;))...My sources say no. HG are not getting any kbox mini or nano "singles" - only kits. So it may be a while but that doesn't mean others won't split them, but haven't seen any yet on the nano.

And.... like the original ST mini, the ST nano is working just fine right now. Don't know how long that will last. I'll say this - flavor is better on the GS Air tanks (the "M" and the "Tank" models) than anything I've tried yet. The "Tank" model would overhang on the subox nano but fits the subox mini batts.

I passed on the Defender 50W and have not held one, but I see the 'rounded sides' weren't as round as the 25/36W mods. I passed on the 50W from reports from Oregon Linda and axel? on phantom fires but never saw any follow-up on those and haven't see that reported elsewhere. But I'm pretty much sold on the kbox mini for feel, function, ease (magnetic door)....

Just received from someone as a gift...so happy and excited! I wanted one of these, but the "special edition"'s "special price" kept me away. Now I have one! Mega stoked!!!!

Those really are gorgeous. Only problem I'd have would be whether to use it.. or display it in my kitchen. :D

OK... I got Home. And sure enough, there was a Priority Mail Box sitting in my Entryway. Inside it I found a Wismec Presa!

(Funny. I seem to feel Fine now that I'm not Working - LOL)

Wow... This thing is Cool!

The First you notice is the Feel. It Feels Very Solid. Not Overly Heavy. But a Dense, Solid Feel. Finish is Smooth as Silk. Build Quality is Outstanding. No Rattle. No Mis-Matched Edges. Up/Down Buttons are Crisp. Top Notch all the way Around.

The Next thing is the Fire Button. If you can Even call it a Button? It doesn't really Matter where you Push it as long as it is on the Top 3/4 of it. So if you are a Thumb Pusher like me or a Finger Presser, doesn't Really Matter. Or you can just Clinch your Fist. It's Crazy Cool.

The 510 Threads are Precise and Perpendicular. I so No Problems here.

The OLED is Very Clear. And the Number are Slightly Larger than on Most Mods I have Used. Easy to Read. Menu Navigation is Simple and Straight Forward. The Up/Down acceleration kicks in Very Fast, which I like.

The On/Off Switch is also a Very Nice and Functional addition. Sometimes it is Hard in Bright Light to know if your Mod is On or Off. So you Stand at the Entryway of a Store, Looking like a Dork, Clicking on your Mod with another Hand shading the Screen. And Randomly taking Test Hits to see if it is Really Off. With this Switch, you just turn it Off and drop it into you Pocket or Bag or Purse. A Very Nice Feature.

The Hit is Great. It Looks Great. And the Feel is Outstanding.

On the zoiDic scale of 1 ~ 100 for Overall Satisfaction, I would give this Wismec Presa a Solid 92. And would Recommend it to just about anyone.

I want to give a BIG Thank You to VapingTurtle. You are Outstanding. And I appreciate you Thinking of Me.

:D
