Let me start by saying don't flame me plz.

In Nov of 2010 I ordered my first ecig ever from V4l. I am happy to say it was the crux of me getting off the analogs. I ordered the PCC shorty kit and all items arrived as advertised. The auto battery stunned me and I loved my dunhall cartos. However the PCC never functioned correctly. It would charge itself but never charged a battery. I called your number off your card and had a nice young lady help me. I was sent a manual battery and a usb charger to make sure it wasn't the original battery. Both the batteries recharged fine in the usb but neither ever received a charge from the PCC. I called back to tell you this and I was told that I would be called back. After a couple of days I had not heard anything so I started a Docket and never received any reply to this either. I appreciate the fact I was sent a usb charger but what I purchased from V4L was a PPC KIT and my PCC never function well. In my frustration I binned it all and purchased another kit somewhere else.
V4L has a great reputation for your Customer Service but I am disappointed that 1/2 of my original purchased didn't work and you tried to skirt around it by sending me other things to pacify me I guess. I would have been a loyal customer if you would have followed all the way through with my kits' problems. I hope this will encourage you too do so in the future.

OK, start with the "docket" number, that should help some. But to bring up a complaint that has gone six months now, and you just now want to bring it up, even you have to admit, it's a little suspicious?

Edit to add, there have been some personal changes made in CS since then, I believe the young lady you dealt with was in the midst of some personal issues at the time. Not an excuse, just letting you know.

There have been some in the past, we are trying to change! Yes, we seem like rabid fans for sure, but at the end of the day, the company policy is to get you off of analogs, PERIOD!
Steve should be wandering around sometime soon, most of the others have gone to bed by now. Hang tight, someone will come in and contact you from V4L and do all they can to make you happy.

Thanks Adam and Sawlight... I have started this thread many times these last few months but chickened out. I am not out for freebies or anything else, I know you felt that way and I understand. V4L is a much trusted company and I just wanted them to not forget the details. This thread wasn't started to inflame or hurt anyone, just keep a good company honest.

I'm sorry about my first post, but you can understand my skeptisim, I hope?
No, we all want people to be happy, Steve, the owner, wants people to be happy, we just want to have some fun!
If Steve doesn't get with you this morning, Chadley will have sent you a PM in the am for contact info so he can follow up on this.
I ASSURE you, they want to know about problems like this so they can fix them. We want them to fix problems like this so we can have more fun and not have to try and help people like you that didn't get what is right.
Simple enough?

The reason we have a great reputation isn't because we skirt issues, or pacify - we get you replacement products so that you don't have to go back to analogs - and to attempt to rectify the situation. We are the ONLY company that I know if in the eCigarette world that actually cares about our customers - one might say we are the Zappos of the eCig community.

If you want to be a loyal customer, we know VERY WELL, that you need working products. The downside to our industry is that we are ALL victims to inconsistencies from our manufacturers. This is why Steve is trying VERY VERY hard to put together our China Ops/Factory - so that we can continue to innovate and deliver the best products.

If you need anything to be worked out, Chad is your man. He will right ANY wrong.

Thanks for your understanding.

Its been 4 months and I thought a long time about posting. Little intimidating to come in here with allot of people who really love V4L, I just wanted to remind them tove follow through.

I did not save the docket number or any other info... was too frustrated.

Not to worry, you are right, we are wrong, we will replace for you. please, pick a color, let chad know, tell him SMILIN say's to take care of it immediately.

Thanks for acknowledging me and what happened. That is what I was after, after the second call I felt shut out. Thanks for talking to me Steve.
Not sure what I should tell Chad, I didn't keep any of the kit Steve. After I was left standing there after the second call and docket I grabbed up everything including all but one of the cards (which was hidden under some papers) and binned it all in frustration. Not the smartest move on my part. I wanted you to know where the break down happened so you could make sure it wouldn't become persistent.
