So I went into my local Cloud 9 today with some friends looking at hookahs and such. I asked how much for the eGo-C Twist, and believe it or not they say $60. I say "Whats with the high price?!" He responded "Well we can throw in a 15ml bottle of juice with it." I dont understand.. Online I can get the same exact thing for just around $30. If I show them the price on the Joyetech website would they likely lower thier selling price? Thats just too ridiculous for me. What are you opinions on buying in a physical store vs and online store? /Endrant

Most folks going into B&M's for the first time have probably never been online to price compare so they think the price they see is the market price. Online does have it's pitfalls also. You could always get an Ego online here if the B&M's price is outrageous.....

I had my son take me to a tobacco shop honestly to buy my starter kit. It was like 20 bucks low amp battery and tank charger and then we went to a different tobacco shop to get juice cause they had it really cheap plus it was locally made. Now that place made a bad mistake with me I bought a crappy tank from them and had to argue with this older gentleman that was not from here. Anyways I paid 5 dollars more then what I had paid for the bad tank and I to this day still us it daily. I have never been back to that store. So I have this tobacco/liquor store that had the same flavors of the store I boycott and I talked the owner in to pick up different size nicotine levels and different size prices. And he is selling it just as cheap as it was when I started. I also have two vape shops that I go to one give you 15% off anything in the store. Plus they have my favorite juice there the other one I go to sells my coils and and also has a favorite flavor I like I have to pay more there but the flavor is unbelievable. I call it the vape day. Yes I drive all over heck but I do this once a month and they are always happy to see me. Plus everyone I deal with I can be straight with no B.S. if something is not working I don't have to fight they keep my needs happy why? Because I have my son doing the same thing and about to get my daughter and one of her friends on the same track. I have decided now that I have done this for a few months your going to honor your product or I will make sure my people will not be showing up at your shop again.

It would be nice for me to have a local store as an alternative to online stores. To actually see the product and hold it in my hands before deciding to buy it.

Unfortunately in my city local stores are simply not an option. There are a few small stores & kiosks on shopping malls, that sell very low quality ego & 510 clones and CE4 clearo clones, i think the brand is Shi Thi :) at ridiculously high prices.
Even for ejuice these stores are not an option. They only have unbranded (or Shi Thi brand as well xD) luquids, some of wich dont even say what level of nic they have, at prices so high, that i could buy a 30ml bottle of liqua online (shipping included), for the price of their 10ml "mistery juice".

Hold on, you can buy vape gear locally? The only thing close to me that sells anything vape is the smoke shops, and selection and quality doesn't exist there. I find it so much more convenient to purchase online, can easily find reviews and comparisons for products that I am interested in and make a better decision from an informed perspective. Once I find what I want, can also check from multiple sources to find the best possible price. Then with a click, they even deliver it to my personal vapebox.

I guess I'm luckier than most. My b&m is a little more expensive than online the staff is very knowledgeable and I like being able to sample juices and test out gear before I buy. I am willing to pay the markup to keep that resource in business. If I'm looking for something they don't carry or I want a little more variety in juice I buy online.

My local shop is awesome. The prices are worse than online, but that is to be expected. They do pay rent, utilities, etc. that many online vendors do not.

I can't seem to recall having someone from Fast Tech build and wick a coil for me for no charge though. I don't recall the last time I could taste a juice online before buying. I have never been able to hang out with other vapers and try their juices and get advice on builds online. The way I see it is that I get more value buying at a B&M than I do online. I am willing to pay a bit more for stuff to support a local store than sending that same money to China so I can get inconsistent/nonexistent quality control and no added value to my purchase.

We all buy where our dollar gets us the most but I look at more than the simple cost of the item before deciding whether or not it is a good value.

The shop in my town has pretty good prices.
Kanger single set for 15.
Kanger double set for 35 I think.

But they have some expensive things there.
Drip tips are 5 to 7 dollars.
Most mods are only 10 dollars more than us online stores.

Their provaris are 200.
Juice 5 for 10ml.

I guess I'm lucky to live so close to such a good store.
I gladly pay overhead to support them.
