Ok, it's not funny that I took my 17 year old daughter to the ER for dizzyness - although she is fine and just needs to eat better - teenagers! heh. Anyway, sitting in an ER room waiting for tests takes forever as everyone knows and I wasn't going to leave her to go outside and vape.

So as I'm vaping away in her ER room on my Sidesho, which throws off a good amount of vapor, a nurse and a doctor came in - both seemed Amazed that I was smoking with no smell!

I gave them all the info while they were examining my daughter and they wanted to know everything, websites, background, flavors and all haha. Never said once - 'don't do that here'. I know it was just one time and probably just luck I didn't get someone who just saw a 'cigarette', but as I was leaving, the doctor wanted to give me the info again to give it to his family and friends and even possibly recommend it to patients he has that are smokers. Lastly saying he could see ecigs becoming very popular if all the information wasn't treated like a 'dirty little secret' by the government lol.

Wish I knew another way besides internet and word of mouth to spread the word. Other than handing out pamplets at bars and coffee houses hehe.

Enjoy all :)

I vaped in Intensive care about a year ago when I was friend sitting. All they asked was for me to do it behind the curtain because they didn't want other patients having heart attacks if they thought they saw smoke.

Consider me your recycling center for Njoy Pro, Smoking Everywhere Gold, Cloud 9, Smoke 51 Trio, and DSE103 useless batteries.
Other hardware if it’s still usable.
Those I loan out to/give to thank you.

If someone came out with a whole write up with all the info that I could print out I would love the file.
I know alot of smokers looking for a way out, and know of some people that are uninformed or not informed at all, and it will make it that much easier to say here ya go read this.

I could put it together myself but, ok I'm lazy right now. :)

One of the hospitals in my town is starting a new anti tobacco policy,
No smoking, No NRT Gum, and No Vaping on the hospitals properties. Yes they specifically mention vaping !!!

The only type of NRT that will be allowed on the property will be patches and they have to be placed where they are not visible.

Anti tobacco? Because PVs and NRTs have nicotine theyre labeled as tobacco?

Sheesh =/

I am just curious, but I also when in a FL hospital. Can I ask which one? You can PM me if you don't want to say in the posts. I am curious. My hospital starts a new no smoking policy in January but they haven't mentioned vaping yet.

You've got to be kidding?!? Not even nicotine gum?? I thought the gum was recommended to help people quit! It is getting really ridiculous! The hosp. where I work (in North Carolina) has been a "tobacco free campus" for a couple of years. So smokers now have to go out to the street! Looks real nice driving up to the hospital, all these smokers looking (and feeling) like lepers. I always work nights, so I would be out there at 3 in the morning. Didn't always feel too safe! Glad I'm not having to go outside now. I just find an empty room and vape;-)
