This is something I've had some trouble with, hence I've been trying different blends of juices. However, I'm wondering if anyone else had this issue.

I smoke 70PG/30VG and smoked 80PG/20VG for awhile as well. A few months ago I got a slight dry cough that would happen toward the end of the day (after lots of vaping earlier on in the day). But now, after vaping for over a year, the cough has gotten even worse. During the day I'm fine then at night I'm hacking up my lungs from vaping all day. I vape from when I get up, till I go to bed. I usually only vape 4-8mg nicotine though.

I'm guessing it is the PG, I tried out the 100% VGs for a day and didn't cough nearly as much or as bad. Has anyone else had this issue?

This is interesting to me, a few people i know who vape have had this problem, though most haven't.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm curious because smoking for 15 years never gave me a cough. I'm new to vaping but might reconsider if it could make my lungs worse than the old analogs?!

Pretty sure tar coated lungs are not a good thing.

I don't think the cough is too harmful on its own. If I don't vape (like when I'm doing clinical rounds for 9 hours) it completely goes away. It isn't lingering around when I'm not vaping so whatever it is, it doesn't appear to be permanent.

Getting some 50/50 juice and i still have some 100% VGs too so I might give that a try again.

I haven't had this issue but I'm curious about dehydration. If it's a dry cough it could be you need more water (beer).
+1 on the BEER or was that water? Anyway, keep drinking plenty of fluids. This helps keep the cough away. This time of year especially as the air is drier as well.

Years of smoking causes tar buildup... Vaping actually causes this tar to slowly dissipate and dislodge... It can cause a cough, but would you rather the tar sit there or be cleared up from vaping? Smoking is 100 times worse!

This is exactly what I thought was happening. I knew it wouldn't just happen overnight.

Could be anything, and also not anything to do with vaping. Could be the dry air of NM, could be the vaping making it worse. Could me an illness, that the dryness of vaping makes worse. My recommendation is to see a doctor, tell him/her what you are doing, when the problem is, and go from there. No-one can diagnose what the problem is with limited information, please see a doctor.
