You want perfect coils with all wraps touching do ya? Well forget squeezing, firing and squeezing, torching, ceramic tweezers - whatever. If you wind it correctly and with tension, you only need to cue up the coil to remove hot legs. here watch.

Damn Super_X, that was a sweet looking coil, I'm going to have to pick me up one of the wire rap tools, or maybe get out the welder and tinker a little (yeah, I could build it without the welder but where's the fun in that?) Anyway, thanks for the tut, I was getting tired of squeezing coils and warping them when I squeeze too tight.

So impressed I just posted thread eluding to and, in awh of your coiling gizmo (i know you didn't invent it-but for our purposes you did) I think I may have added to the awesomeness of our little device ...I noticed in the video that the wire or leg you trap kind of becomes unusable in that you have to cut it or try to str8n it....... I went with the m4 wing nut screws but instead of plain ss washers, I got 2 ss washers that are rubber on one side and concaved which seem to lock your wire in tighter WITHOUT ANY REAL EFFORT and without kinking it and just another plain wing nut to tighten...... Homie Depot has what I'm showing here and it works extremely well
