I'll start off by saying I'm a huge fan of the Ego. But I have 1 problem that is the battery, mine has died after just 2 months. At this stage, since one atty also died, I was thinking of getting a whole new starter kit.

I'm swayed towards the Riva, but if possible I would like a PV that has a replacement battery design, like a 901 (Screwdriver), except I want to stay 510 without using adapters.

Finally I need a PV that is readily available, even in Europe. Something that is cheaper or at least the same price as the Ego route.

Let me know if anything comes to mind. So far my vote is in for the Riva. If you agree where did you buy your Riva?

*** Disclaimer **** The Ego I bought was a HelloSmoke Ego from ejuice.cz who had rebranded it as an Ego Maxx.

You might have better luck with a Joyetech product. The ones you can get through Janty USA - USA SHOP || Shipping only to N. America come with a warrantee.

I really like the eGo so I'm not sure I have a recommendation.

You can get a Screwdriver MKI with a 510 fitting right from the source (England, and he ships all over the world): The ScrewDriver Online Electronic Cigarette Shop

If you like the size and shape of the eGo, I might suggest looking at the Puresmoker Icon. It seems to have a similar styling but uses regular 900 mah batteries and has a 510 connection to use your Ego stuff. While initially a little pricier than an eGo kit, replacing batteries doesn't mean replacing the whole unit and hoping the same color is available, and the batteries are less than half the price of an eGo/Riva-specific battery. It is also available both here in the States at Puresmoker or in the UK at Cloud9Vaping.

I am not sure - the eGo is a good unit comparable to the Riva but I guess the Riva's extra mAh does help a bit. It might just be that my eGo was defective like yours but the Riva seems to provide a bit stronger hit.

i thought that the higher mah was just batt. life and nothing to do with the hit you get.

I've been seriously considering a ProVape. What do you love the most about it, if you don't mind me asking?

I love my ProVape! Perfect size and weight, very comfortable button and it has a lifetime warranty! Not to mention the excellent customer service they provide. If you decide to purchase one, you won't be disappointed.

Go for a mod that uses L-ion batteries. They will last longer than the Ego or Riva batteries, are more readily available, and you can get 4 for the price of one Ego battery. A box mod from Box Mods would be the cheapest, but there are many other mods available that are much better than an Ego or a Riva.

yeah..get a big brother.

I almost pulled the trigger on one last night. They are coming w/a variable voltage unit and from what I have read something should be out soon. Not sure I can wait and may end up buying now. What atty's do you use w/yours??? I am currently using Cisco LR306's on an eGo. With a true 3.7V do you notice a difference?

^^^ +1 ^^^ TLC
It really is a beautiful mod, seeing and using is beleiving..I have a blue one that is gorgeous. It is different than the eGo in that because the ProVape does not have a cone the draw is more airy and there are some seating issues when using the first edition of the E2 cartos, not sure if that has been fixed with the newer editions. Do you know if the newer ones work with the ProVape TLC?
