Chit..............had it 2 and half days and the switch light went out and the atty just keeps burning! Company has me another switch on the way. The switch I have has a hard button, the company is sending me a new one with a soft or rubber button. Has anyone else had this problem with their e power switch?

Got my new switch for my 14650 today from sweet-vapes and I am back in business....lol. Dayna was very nice and fast in shipping the new one to me, and she even included a sample bottle of pecan & pralines....yum! Also, my battery casing for my 18650 came today from breezesmokes (I got the last one)! Can you say double fisted..........lol! Anyone know where I can get replacement switches for the both, I need backups?

Just a heads up, I don't know if its a mistake or not, but breezesmokes.com has a E-power 14650 kit for $29.99. Thats the lowest price I have seen. I have 3 kits and have only used the first one for over 4 months of heavy use and still going strong and so I have two kits as back ups or I would jump on this in a second. Call him maybe or just order and see. The site says 6 available.

So I have one of these on the way. It looks like the problematic switch and button have been addressed with a new switch and plastic button. Anyone have experience with them?

Also I'm curious about the talk of 510 adaptors/extenders on the e-power. What is the purpose?
I use a 510 shorty extension on my E-Power and it will make the threads last longer in the E-power, and some times it works nice with other type carto's like the Ego-C or T that have cones. You are always unscrewing and screwing new or refilled carto's back in all the time so it will make the ordinal threads in any mod last longer. I get them at madvapes.

I picked up an e-power. None of my low resistance attys/cartos work on it. The power button blinks.

They work great on my ego 650 passthrough.
I don't understand it not working with low resistance atty, I use a 1.7 ohm carto on my E-Power all the time and no problem. Make sure all the connections are clean and the center connector in the middle of the carto is not flush with the threaded part. If it is you can use tweezers to pull it out a little to make a better connection, and you can pull up the center connection of the battery post just a hair. I use a 510 shorty from madvapes just to save the treads, so maybe that is why I have no problems. I do think that any carto should work fine on the E-Power unless you have a bad switch. Hope this helps. If other carto's work OK I would suggest trying my suggestions above.

Dredging this one up from the past for two main reasons:

1) It's a very good, if somewhat dated, discussion of the e-Power, which is going to be my go-to recommendation (for power unit anyway) for all of my friends and acquaintances who want to get into vaping, which number about 20 so far. I'm not even sure who, if anyone, has e-Power 14650 kits in stock, but I think I can buy all of the separate pieces if I have to.

2) To call attention to an excellent example of how not to talk to people. I hesitate to say exactly who I'm talking about, but his initials are "WillyB", Veteran User. Check out posts #35 and #37.

Member A, 857 posts: "Is this device running at true 3.7 then? Sounds very interesting to me".

Member B, 581 posts: "Yes it does run at true 3.7. no change in vape from beginning to end". =)

WillyB, 2,937 posts: "Unfortunately that's not true. I'd also venture to say that with a LR atty it will never even see 3.7V.

You should spend a bit of time on these forums before posting such nonsense".

I think it was the fact that he took the time to add the facepalm smiley that really prompted me to call attention to his public behavior. Is that really the best you can do when relating to your fellow man? I don't think so.

And if his information is incorrect, which it just might be (don't 14650 batteries charge at around 4.2 volts and put out 3.7 volts?), then he has commited what I call "the Double Whammy", in which the perpetrator is both incorrect, and also unkind in how he communicates his incorrectness.

[End of public flogging].

Lastly - Does anyone know who happens to have e-Power 14650 starter kits in stock right now? Thanks.

I like what tonyorion said. I mean if you have had good luck with the ego line then good for you but i live on like $800/month so for me it was simple math 2 ultrafire flat top 14650 for $12.98 at madvapes or $20 plus per ego batt & we all know you cannot have just one batt what would you do while it was charging??? Without unless you spend more $$$$ on a pass-thru but many of those you can not take with you...
