I got rid of all my egos and regular pvs (808 & 510s) and now have 5 e-powers, all sizes avail....all work great, no issues with any of them and Ive been using them for months. My puppy even knocked one into my bath and I just took it apart, toweled it off and it fired right up! The only PV I care to get now is a Provari for the VV option because I like the 5v my box gives me but VV sounds like it would be awesome. Just too expensive for me right now LOL
E-powers are very budget friendly, you can replace each part without having to buy a whole new everything. batteries are cheap. For me they've been the all-around best purchases I've made in this last year. Good luck, I hope you love yours!
I ordered the E-Power today. I have never tried anything but the Joye 501 and the 808 model e cig. I am forever charging batteries since I vape heavily. I was looking at buying an Ego (for a longer battery life), but ran across the E-Power while researching. To me, the E-Power seems like a better deal and the reviews were raving! $5 for replacement battery was a big plus for me, not to mention the fact that I have a least 25 new 510 atties to use up! I found the best deal at sweet-vapes.com for $42.00. The kit includes:
1 black rubberized unit (battery tube, PCB switch, cone)
2 14650 1050mah protected batteries
2 2.0ohm black atomizers
1 short 510-510 extender (to raise the atty above the top of the cone, no need for a long drip tip)
5 prefilled mar tobacco 18mg carts (not SV e-liquid)
1 U.S. E-Power battery charger
1 gift box & instruction manual
1 3ml bottle of SV juice
I don't know why I picked the black one, just liked that it is a rubberized coating. I topped my order off with 2 extra batteries. I can't wait to try this............someone please tell me what a treat I am in for!!!!

Responding to wyojoe!

I have cartomizers for 510 too, and I really like them better. I really don't understand the ohm just yet, and don't know which ones I have........lol. I want to purcase some dual (sounds interesting) but wow...........I have spent so much money in the past 2months on this e cig thing that I think I can go at least a year and not have to purchase anything else for them (maybe some juice down the road, and I have a lot of juice that I will probably never use that I just don't like)......lol! Where do you buy your cartomizers and do you go through the trouble of cleaning them? I have mostly 808 cartomizers and have refilled them a bunch and saw where you can try to boil them to get all the old flavors out of them. Does this work, or is it just too time consuming? Thanks wyojoe........I am really looking forward to my E-Power (hubby don't know about it yet.......he thinks that I am obsessed with the whole thing)! I even order spare parts for my E-Power today from Hoosier E Cig Supply and they were really cheap!
I started out cleaning the carto's and reusing but for me they just never worked as good as a new one. So now I toss them when they quit performing like the should. You might consider buying a Volt/Ohm meter to check out the carto's. If one is not working and you don't know why you can check it with the Meter. Very handy to have around, and at Harbor Freight or Menards you can buy one for around 10 dollars. You will be able to check the voltage on you batteries to or tell if your switch is dead. I buy my carto's at AceofVapes and Liberty-Flights, madvapes and crystalclearvaping.

What might not be clear in the instruction manual is that you must place the battery positive side to connect to the switch. What I have done is mark with a fine marker a plus on the bottom of the switch, then I marked bigger + on the batteries plus side to make it easier to see and not make a mistake. The switch is usually damaged if the battery is put in backwards.

Enjoy your E-power, I like mine.

I think your thought process is right on. Being able to replace parts if need be (you can't do that with a E-go) So the E-Power is more cost efficient and you can carry a spare charged 14650 battery with you and will never run out of power. I have had mine for 3 months, no problems and I like it better that any mod I have. Just a suggestion, when you get it lube the treads (very lightly) on the threaded part of the switch that the battery tube screws on to with hand cream or petroleum jelly, this keeps it from squeaking and will help the treads last longer. Do it only once and it will last a long time. I suggest that you practice screwing the tube on the switch with out a battery in it to see how it should feel, then put the battery in it and make sure it doesn't bind the treads, don't force it if it does, just back it off a little and try again. Never force it, as it will strip the treads. This is true with anything you screw into a threaded hole or nut. You will love the E-Power. I hope this helps you.

AS a side note: I don't like attys and carts or dripping. I use 510 cartomizers and like the Low ohm Cartomizers or Dual coil Cartomizers the best, this is just my preference .

My E power came today and I love it. I use atties (have so many of them), 510 cartomizers and right now I am just dripping a few of my juices that I haven't tried yet. I like 808 cartomizers the best and I can attach my adapter to the E Power and use my 808's! I started using it around 5:00 today and the battery is still going strong! I do want to purchase the duel carts to try, but guess I better wait a while because I have been really forking out the bucks. i did order a meter today though for checking carts and switches. Hey.............I would love to open an e cig store right here in my hometown (which is going non smoking soon)! lol, just wished I knew how to get started!

I do like the Dual Coil cartos, but they do use up you battery power quicker. I don't know what to tell you about opening a store maybe others can give you some suggestions. It would be scary for me. LOL

Ok so now there is another ego like ecig except it has the user replaceable 14650 battery at 1050Mah.
My question is Why do we need this? We have Egos with 900-1000mah sealed battery and theres a Riva with a 1300mah battery. Now if its just the fact that a 14650 battery will handle a LR 1.8ohm, or so atty, or cartomizer better than a 1300mah sealed battery in a Riva..Then I truly don't understand why smok tek put this out. I have a 1000mah,950,650 Ego,Ego-T,Riva, and a bombshell with a 2300mah 18650 and the way I use it 2 rcr123a 3.0v and use it as a 6v PV.

So if someone can tell me a need for this...Post it

such a flashback for me concerning cordless drills...started with 3.8 and just kept getting bigger and bigger...i was more then content at 12v cordless,,those who mocked me coz they had a 14,16 or the now ever popular and common 18.8v cordless would get a reply something like.."hell why not hook that thing up to a car battery"

Ive had the Epower for about 4 or 5 months now and its been pretty decent. My only complaints are that when I use certain atomizer around 2 or less ohms, the battery cuts out and i have to reattach the battery for it to work. I dont know whether that is the battery or the switch. Also, the threads are less than perfect but thats a bit of a nitpick. The switch is also kinda janky after a while. It either dies when shorted out or gets sticky from juice. Overall though its pretty good especially compared to the Egos.

Chit..............had it 2 and half days and the switch light went out and the atty just keeps burning! Company has me another switch on the way. The switch I have has a hard button, the company is sending me a new one with a soft or rubber button. Has anyone else had this problem with their e power switch?

I so can't wait to get my "big boy" back..............lol! I have the 14650 model, just waiting on that new switch. Also, I have the bigger model (can't recall the #), just needed the battery housing and it is on the way too!
Sorry to here that you had a bad switch on your 14650. I have had mine for about 4 months now and still works like new, I did buy and extra switch just in case, but have not need it yet. Early on the button was sticky like when you pressed it down it would not fully return to its normal position. I just put a small drop on e-juice around the button and pressed it many times then wiped any excess off and its been great ever since. The other battery you have is probably the 18650 and its great too, just larger and lasts longer between charges with the 3000 mAh battery I bought from MadVapes.

wyojoe???? Do you have the soft button or the hard plastic button on your e power? Mine was the hard one, and the one I should be getting tomorrow is a soft button. The switch I have for the 18650 is the soft button. Nothing happened to the hard button on my 14650 (the button still presses just fine) but when I hook up the attie to it, attie just continues to heat. i hope that the soft button is better.

Mine is the soft button on both of mine. I don't know what to think about the hard plastice button. Did you have to send it back. If not you might try to drip some alcohol on the switch and let it wick inside the switch and press the button a bunch of times. From what you described the button is stuck in the on position all the time. If you didn't need to send back, try the alcohol and bang the unit against you hand to see if you can knock it loose. It's broken now so it wont hurt to try. It does sound like it is just a bad switch. Does the light stay on when you screw the battery onto the switch??

No, the light does not come on at all. There was no mention of me sending it back tho. I tried rubbing alcohol and pushing the button over and over again, but did not hit it in my hand............I am gonna try to work on it............lol! Thanks
If you don't have to send it back then you have nothing to lose messing with it. You said when you screw the battery on, the carto is burning so, that does mean it is stuck in the on position, but you would think that the button light would stay on all the time too. With the soft button you can carefully take it out and put it back in. So maybe with the hard button you can take it out also and look inside to see if you can see anything you might be able to fix. Maybe or maybe not.LOL If you do take the button off, screw the battery back on the switch and see if its still always on, if it is still on after the button is removed then you know the button is not the problem.
