I have had my e-power for awhile now. I LOVE it. That makes me happy. Having cheaper replaceable parts makes me happy.

I use mine with the 2.8 510 XL clearomizer.

Long battery life with lots o juice. :)

WillyB mine seems to hit as good right before recharge as when first starting off. Probably no where near scientific enough for you, but it is good enough for me.

Unfortunately that's not true. I'd also venture to say that with a LR atty it will never even see 3.7V.

You should spend a bit of time on these forums before posting such nonsense.
What proof do you have that it is nonsense?? Where on the forums have you seen otherwise?? Trying to learn, so if you know something that we don't know, please tell the rest us.

Ok so now there is another ego like ecig except it has the user replaceable 14650 battery at 1050Mah.
My question is Why do we need this? We have Egos with 900-1000mah sealed battery and theres a Riva with a 1300mah battery. Now if its just the fact that a 14650 battery will handle a LR 1.8ohm, or so atty, or cartomizer better than a 1300mah sealed battery in a Riva..Then I truly don't understand why smok tek put this out. I have a 1000mah,950,650 Ego,Ego-T,Riva, and a bombshell with a 2300mah 18650 and the way I use it 2 rcr123a 3.0v and use it as a 6v PV.

So if someone can tell me a need for this...Post it

Haven't read the entire thread yet so sorry if it's already been said.

1. Regulated 3.7v
2. Modular...can replace or upgrade specific 'parts'.
3. Can use IMR batteries for LR stuff.
4. Switch rated for higher current/amps.

In essence, it's a factory made tube mod in a kit with batteries and charger for under 50 bucks.
Other items are slated to be made for the 'e-power' line of products such as a Variable Voltage regulator, 'auto switch', etc.
You just screw off/on sections.

In the short haul, it's one of the less expensive ways to safely/effectively rock 1.5 Ohm dualies?

Apologies if any of this is repeated already,

Firstly the Riva batteries are a Power Supply Unit, not a battery. Replacing them will always be more expensive that getting a battery to slot in. Secondly they are not cheap, inthe UK I'm spending over £10 per battery/PSU.

I think the E-Power is a great idea for people that want to move towards mod style but without going all the way and having everything mostly done for you, plus the price is good (IMHO)

I will be getting the E-Power, thats why I found this thread (researching before buying) - unless lots of people say it's terrible with justified reasons then it will be my next pv/mod/coolthingtohave :)

I have had mine for 10 days. 14650 E-Power Stainless steel model. I love it, no problems at all. Very nice looking and fits all my 510 cartomizers (510 Boge, clearomizers, the E4's work great too, but the cone won't fit over it. Its easier to carry a spare battery with you than carrying a extra E-go battery that might go off in your pocket, and the 14650 batt lasts longer between charges.

Replaceable batts is a major selling point for me, but I'm also interested in...

--Ability to switch between different batts.
--Ability to swap out the switch section with others having different threads.
--Variable Voltage would also be pretty cool, but I'd settle for the above two.

Simply put, I'm looking for an e-power/x-power/whatever type PV that has the versatility of a GGTS, but the pricing of an eGo.

This unit it cheap cheap cheap and you know what 2 weeks in and the switch already failed.
Have had my 14650 E-Power for 2 months and zero problems. I like it very much, best that I have used so far. How nice to have a extra charged battery in your pocket, and when needed just pop a new battery in and you back in business. I read somewhere on the forum about a button sticking, and they put a drop of alcohol around the button and pressed it many time and it quit sticking. Don't know it that was your problem or not? Also you can buy a new switch only, for 12 to 15 dollars, if needed and hopefully it will last a lot longer than 2 weeks. Sorry you are having problems. Don't give up on this unit, because in my opinion it is a very good one. You might contact the vendor and maybe they will replace the switch, worth a try.

I've had one for months and it performs flawlessly.

Well I've had one for 5 years, ........................
I've replaced 4 batteries, the switch 3 times, got a new cone and a new tube and it's STILL GOING STRONG!!

I ordered the E-Power today. I have never tried anything but the Joye 501 and the 808 model e cig. I am forever charging batteries since I vape heavily. I was looking at buying an Ego (for a longer battery life), but ran across the E-Power while researching. To me, the E-Power seems like a better deal and the reviews were raving! $5 for replacement battery was a big plus for me, not to mention the fact that I have a least 25 new 510 atties to use up! I found the best deal at sweet-vapes.com for $42.00. The kit includes:
1 black rubberized unit (battery tube, PCB switch, cone)
2 14650 1050mah protected batteries
2 2.0ohm black atomizers
1 short 510-510 extender (to raise the atty above the top of the cone, no need for a long drip tip)
5 prefilled mar tobacco 18mg carts (not SV e-liquid)
1 U.S. E-Power battery charger
1 gift box & instruction manual
1 3ml bottle of SV juice
I don't know why I picked the black one, just liked that it is a rubberized coating. I topped my order off with 2 extra batteries. I can't wait to try this............someone please tell me what a treat I am in for!!!!

I think your thought process is right on. Being able to replace parts if need be (you can't do that with a E-go) So the E-Power is more cost efficient and you can carry a spare charged 14650 battery with you and will never run out of power. I have had mine for 3 months, no problems and I like it better that any mod I have. Just a suggestion, when you get it lube the treads (very lightly) on the threaded part of the switch that the battery tube screws on to with hand cream or petroleum jelly, this keeps it from squeaking and will help the treads last longer. Do it only once and it will last a long time. I suggest that you practice screwing the tube on the switch with out a battery in it to see how it should feel, then put the battery in it and make sure it doesn't bind the treads, don't force it if it does, just back it off a little and try again. Never force it, as it will strip the treads. This is true with anything you screw into a threaded hole or nut. You will love the E-Power. I hope this helps you.

AS a side note: I don't like attys and carts or dripping. I use 510 cartomizers and like the Low ohm Cartomizers or Dual coil Cartomizers the best, this is just my preference .

Responding to wyojoe!

I have cartomizers for 510 too, and I really like them better. I really don't understand the ohm just yet, and don't know which ones I have........lol. I want to purcase some dual (sounds interesting) but wow...........I have spent so much money in the past 2months on this e cig thing that I think I can go at least a year and not have to purchase anything else for them (maybe some juice down the road, and I have a lot of juice that I will probably never use that I just don't like)......lol! Where do you buy your cartomizers and do you go through the trouble of cleaning them? I have mostly 808 cartomizers and have refilled them a bunch and saw where you can try to boil them to get all the old flavors out of them. Does this work, or is it just too time consuming? Thanks wyojoe........I am really looking forward to my E-Power (hubby don't know about it yet.......he thinks that I am obsessed with the whole thing)! I even order spare parts for my E-Power today from Hoosier E Cig Supply and they were really cheap!
