I couldn't come up a catchall name for tanks, RBAs etc. I'm sure there is one, I just haven’t found it yet. So I'm having trouble settling on a vape maker for my provari. I am really having trouble with cartos. Just when I think I'm starting to like them, it’s a 106 outside and its flood city. I like my protanks but they are kind of finicky and fiddly to keep running good. Vivis, don't get me started. I like my RBA, kind of fiddly but seems to do a lot better with big temp changes (106 outside 74 inside). I have an AGI, it’s all right, it's really pretty but it has enough little peccadilloes that can add up to a pain in the ... pretty quick sometimes. So to make a long story short, I was thinking either a Terminator C from SVC or a ZAU. Gennys I'm familiar with but don't know much about the Term C, I tried reading through the thread on them but it's like 188 pages long and I don't have that kind of attention span. Not sure if there was a question in there. Maybe opinions? I also looked at the diver, without juice control I think I might run into the same problems I'm having with cartos. I probably should of posted this on the RBA page but I use a Provari so I figured I'd start here first.

P.S. I would love a kayfun, a little too rich and hard to get a hold of for me though.

Hey Leithan! I'm probably not much help because I'm just about to get into RBA's just because I want to try out something new but I had the same problem with carts. When I used them alone I was always flooding them because I was so afraid of burning them so I switched to cartotanks! They're great once you get past the learning curve. Check out Baditudes blog! That's what helped me! And they're a dream for when your on the go! Fill & go! Good luck finding your delivery system!

I would love a Kayfun, But.......I don't have a rare mech to trade for one and my wife might object to me trading away a child. I have watched the FS/FT page for a week and the only ones I have seen have been for trade only.....kind of at a loss on where to find one, tried emailing a German sight that listed them as well as cloud9, no response. Not that I'm not patient (I'm really not) my job keeps me pretty isolated out in the boondocks with limited to no access to internet, can't constantly watch the page. Lucking out on one for sale, when I have the cash, might be slightly more difficult than finding a unicorn while being simultaneously bitten by a shark and struck by lightning......on the big toe. I have pretty much resigned myself to "in-stock" stuff.
I use a carto tank, still have the problem of heat causing the juice to get thin and flood. I can fix it by using a carto with a smaller slot....then it doesn’t get enough juice when I'm inside and it's cooler. That’s a lot of work, changing cartos and yata yata...I'm kind of lazy. I was thinking If I used a device with some kind of juice control I could adjust it on the fly. I know gennys don't have juice control but hot or cold they seem to vape the same.
P.S. Sorry If I'm coming off as a needy whiner, just frustrated. As happy as I am that I quit smoking, at least they were reliable........If I could just get a decent, consistent vape, I would be happy.

Damn you google for making me look like an ... again. I spent (wasted) about an hour of my life looking for a retailer that had the Kayfun, vaperev never once came up. Thank you chikenbok, you beat google and by extension, yahoo, bing, .......you are the best search engine. I signed up for stock notifications on all three finnishes so hopefully my stars will align and I will score one in the near future.

Leithan, your comments with regard to high temperatures caught my eye. It's been in the 100s all this past week. Today, the mercury will top 112℉. Heading back to the more vape friendly SF Bay Area weather, next week.

Of all my delivery devices, my genny styled RBAs fitted with SS mesh do the best, here in the hot Vegas desert. My cartotanks fall in at a distant second. My silica based tank RBAs, which are my favorites, take last place with the exception of the SVC Terminator C V2.

A couple of days ago, I took a SVC Terminator C out with me to lunch and shopping with my daughter. Due to the Term's SS build, it was a real heat conductor at 106℉ outside air temp. It had flooded in minutes of leaving the air conditioned car. However, with the ability to open and close the juice feed control, I quickly managed to stop the flooding and discovered the merits of said.

My Diver has faired surprisingly well in the heat, as I have previously posted. It will develop a slight gurgle in the extreme heat, but a quick pull remedies that. How the Diver does not flood is beyond me. I am currently running a 2mm/3mm silica combo for the wick assembly in the Diver. I think that helps with the heat and flooding. My 50/50 DIY juices have been heat tested, now.

The Killer 705 still has my attention, as I read the many positive reviews. For the price of the Killer, I may just purchase another SVC Term.

The Kayfun GT looks very promising. However, I am on the hunt for an Ithaka.

ETA: Have you considered using a dripping atty when out and about in the hot weather?

I love using drippers in the evening at home. As such, I am awaiting the arrival of an eBaron Dripper Pro, which has a larger juice capacity than my other drippers. I plan on using the eBDP when outdoors.
