I am looking for a ce2 tank. All the ones I find require a cut stainless ce2. I really don't want the hassle of cutting them. Nor do I want to pay $4+ each to purchase the pre-cut ones.

So what I'd like is.....

A tank with a type of permanent bottom. I'd like to be able to get the clearo type of ce2 so I can easily pull off the plastic tube then just screw the ce2 in the permanent bottom of the tank. I want to just unscrew the old one at cleaning time and screw in a new one.

Is there a tank out there that meets these specs?

The problem with doing that is getting a good seal on the end of the CE2.

That being said, Stormy is supposed to start carrying the Arry tank from the UK.
It is similar to the SSR in that it has an adapter mounted in the bottom plug
that the carto screws into. It is made for cartos, but you can always get one and
experiment.

Thanks for the replies. That SSR looks like just what I'm looking for-so it figures they no longer make them! I remember seeing them on GP's site when I first started vaping and they were always OOS.

I looked at the arry. The ce2 version has you pushing it through the bottom end cap. I can see me having issues with that. The carto version was probably what you were referring to. If the length is right, that could fit the bill. But of course, they are OOS and looks like they have been since mid Dec.

Anyone have any other recs? If not I think I have a few extra 510-510 connectors laying around. Might have to try making my own if I can't get one to purchase.

I have the same requirements as you have with ce2 tanks. Easy to use, easy to fill, doesn't require cutting tubes for replacement ce2's. All in all, user-friendly. So I went hunting for a perfect one and ended up with an EPM tank and a Juice Jar.

Here's the link to the Juice Jar:

Juice Jar can hold a loooooot of juice!

EPM Tank:

I haven't received the tanks yet so I can't really give my opinion on how these tanks work for me. I also went and looked at the Arry Tank. They have one that uses a ce2. Overall, I like it because it doesn't require cutting of the ce2 tube upon replacing. But 1 part i don't like is that it's not so easy to open the top cap for filling and cleaning. You have to use a syringe to fill the tank. That will not work for me because I get tired of juices easily and switch flavors all the time. Hope to help! :)

Trademark-thanks so much for those links!
I think the juice jar is a little big for me.

I'm liking that EPM Tank-it's nice looking. But again-the ce2 doesn't screw in, you have to push it through the end cap. Maybe I'm being too overly concerned with damaging the wicks. When you get yours would you please report back on the assembly and if the ce2 goes in smoothly?

Yeah, the Juice Jar is on the big side. Great when just hanging around the house watching TV. Not really recommended when going out.

I have used a lot of ce2's in my 6 months of vaping and I'm a tank user. I'm not too concerned with wicks when it comes to tank assemblage. I just take my time, making sure that each part is where it's supposed to be. Don't sweat it, I'm sure you'll do fine with the wicks. :) I'll surely report back and take a photo of the EPM tank when it arrives.

By the way, have you seen the Acorn Tank by Parkes Vaping? The bottom part is not screw type but I read it's easy to use. i'm just not sure if it requires tube cutting of ce2. I asked around the Parkes forum and they said it doesn't require any cutting. Not 100% sure because I just saw a post that says it requires cutting. Quite confused with that.

I looked at the arry. The ce2 version has you pushing it through the bottom end cap. I can see me having issues with that.

I have the Arry CE2 tank and I love it. Not sure if you are worried about the tank and CE2 sliding apart, but I can tell you it has never happened to me. I pick mine up by the tank all the time(and there is a silver bullet attached to the bottom of the tank lol). So it's actually quite a tight fit.
As for filing or getting the top off, you can fill it with the needle through the gasket, but you can also fill it before putting the top cap on. As for getting the top cap off, I usually stick a fingernail between the cap and tank then pop a little flathead screwdriver in that space to pry it up a bit so I can get it apart.

I've got an acorn tank as well, and while the design seems like a great idea it does have its flaws, so this would probably be the same with the juice jar. If the tank gets bumped even slightly then you loose all your nic juice out of the bottom gasket. Also the screw on top is a pain when trying to keep the little slotted CE2 gasket in the right place, screwing the top on moves it and you either get leakage or blockage.

Short 510 to 510 adapter, MAP tank and you're done. (small o-ring around the base threads of the CE2 to stop leakage)
aside from using a carto type tank, you will always have to fiddle around.

if a carto tank is too much work for you, then a CE2 type tank setup is not for you...
I'm not trying to be rude, just being honest. But if im reading our posts wrong than ignore my statement.

a cheap $5 pipe cutter makes quick work of a normal CE2
and a cut CE2 fits nice and snug in the base of a tank (referring to M.A.P. tank)

you're probably just over-thinking to much, it really isn't all that hard.
it may take you one or two tries, but once you're done you will be really pleased with what you have.

best of luck to ya!

Jewelz, I've been using the EPM tank for 2 weeks already. I am loving it!!!! It's super easy to fill, easy to clean and easy to change the ce2. It doesn't leak (unless you flood the ceramic cup with juice). The only problem - the standard size ce2 XL is a lot shorter than the ce2 that came with the tank. A couple of Aussie vapers told me that Juicewhore had their ce2 customized, longer by 5mm compared to the standard.

I have a couple of ce2's here and installed it inside the EPM. It worked fine, just shorter. Planning to cut the tube of the EPM to accommodate my own ce2. Hope that helped. :)
