Hello all,

So basically I would like to get another setup going. Right now I have 2 that I regularly use; a nautilus on a SID and a kayfun on a Nemesis. I would like to get either another rebuildable or a dripper. I guess I'm more or less curious as to what you may recommend? Either rebuildable or dripper, which mod and tank, all that fancy shmancy fun stuff and what not. I should also add that I'm looking to get clones.

Thanks in advance!

Well, a dripper IS a rebuildable, but perhaps what you mean is something like a genesis RBA. Generally speaking there seem to be two main camps, the cotton/silica camp and the mesh camp. Most cannot master rolling a mesh wick or building a genny right, so they end up in the cotton/silica camp, which is a much bigger camp. Your choice.

You already have what many consider to be the top clearomizer (Nautilus) and top RBA (Kayfun). Why take a step backwards? If you are into big clouds, a rebuildable dripper would be an option to consider. An inexpensive IGO-W and an intermediately-priced Patriot are what I own.

You have a regulated mod and a mechanical. Which style do you prefer?

Sting rays are incredible vapes. If you're looking for something a little new I would suggest a Valkyrie. It's a stunning little hybrid. If you really like what you have and are just looking to expand your collection I would look at a king or a turtleship. The kings around me lately are just really beautiful. They are a great build and clones are pretty good but I find them just great collects and conversation starter. My turtleship is a daily smoke and I love the variable size. It also has magnets rather than springs which just saves some hassle. As far as atomizers go I would look into patriots and IGO.

Well Primarily I would like to be able to have more flavors readily available, hence the 3rd setup. I would also like something that produces big clouds too. I have considered trying a sub ohm build, but I've heard that the Nemesis doesn't perform well under 1.2 ohms or it's not good on it or something? That's why dripping caught my attention. I'm not really sure if you need to sub-ohm a dripper to get the big clouds, but regardless I figure if I need a new mod, may as well get an additional tank to throw on it.

As far as the mods I guess I would say mech mods due to them being less restrictive as to what you can use on them. I wish my Nemesis had a digital display like my SID though! Haha

Excuse me? The Nemesis is mech, and will do any ohms you screw onto it. Mine works just dandy at .7 ohm. Please don't get into sub-ohm vaping anytime soon. Do some homework first, read up, watch the videos on YouTube.

I understand the the Nemesis is a mech, I am just repeating what I've been told by multiple people. I have been given bad information multiple times by the people I talk to locally about vaping, that's the primary reason I signed up on this site, to try and gain some more accurate and reliable information. I know the risk involved in sub-ohm builds, I wouldn't seriously consider attempting it going in blind. This is me beginning my "homework" if I don't know where to start, how can I expect to reach the finish line? That's the beauty of sites such as this though isn't it? Someone says something false, like a Nemesis having limits, and it's quickly corrected. I can't think of a better place to start.

So after looking into it a bit the Trident V2 is what caught my eye. I am also looking at the Sentinel to go with it. The EHPro Clones for both. Will these two work well together? And what have your experience been like with them? I would be really happy if I could get a fairly decent setup for 40 bucks.

I have a Sentinel clone from fasttech (no idea who makes it) and I do have an annoying pet peave with it. While using it the fire button constantly unscrews to the point where eventually the locking ring will not unscrew enough to actually lock and keep it from firing. As a result I am constantly taking off the bottom cap and screwing the the button again. Just thought to give a heads up on that issue I ran into with mine.

Well, I have a Nemesis clone and the fire button on that is pretty janky at times too, but you get what you pay for right? If that's the only fault of it, I can definitely live with it especially for only $19.99

Oh I agree I just wanted to give a heads up before you got bit by a continually firing device because you didn't notice it happening. :)

How about a little blue loctite on the threads? Not familiar with this mod at all, but if it isn't something you'll be unscrewing often and don't want it to work itself loose, loctite may be the answer. (Assuming its not in a place where you'll be heating and inhaling it.)

Unscrew the button from the pin, stuff a small dab of cotton in there and reattach -- WIN, WIN no more fiddling with it, it won't unscrew on it's own. It fixed mine.

BTW, I have a HCigar stainless/brass Sentinel M16 [clone]. I hated it because of the switch unscrewing while vaping. Once I discovered the fix on ECF, and a Youtube video, I applied it and have loved using it ever since. It hits like a champ, is soild, has a nice heft to it and has survived several falls with barely noticeable blemishes. It has become my daily driver with my Kayfun clones.
