I use 24G Nichrome 80 in my drippers, but that's just a personal choice. When I use Kanthal, I use 28G. 8 wrap duallys at 2mm will get you in the .8 ohm range and work well at 30W. Add a few more wraps, bump it up to 3mm and 50W and you can get some nice clouds out of a 1 ohm build. Or like edyle said, you can build single coils at 1 - 2 ohms and do about the same thing. The more surface area you have on your coils, the more vapor you will produce. Now that you can push more wattage, the only thing limiting you is the build deck in your atty.
The only thing that concerns me is your choice of batteries. I would have gone with Sony VTC4's for a mod that pushes that much wattage. They can take the higher amp drain a LOT better. Your mod should protect you from any problems, but nothing is completely infallible. Personally, I wouldn't push that mod over 85W without a true 30A battery.
