Calling all experts!
My husband and I use carto tanks and love them, but only when they're fresh. I think it's time to experiment with RBAs, specifically rebuildable atomizer tanks. I'm willing to put out big bucks for one eventually if necessary. If at all possible, I'd like to learn on something cheaper just in case it doesn't work out.
Is there a cheap, reliable rebuildable atty tank that will give me an idea of the effort and techniques required to get up and running? If I do need to go into something more expensive eventually to get all the specs I want, then I'd prefer whatever cheaper version I start with to to mimic the build requirements of the more expensive one I might end up with. Does that even make sense?
Before I get lots of posts questioning why would I need something more expensive, let me say I'm not sure I actually do. I have some requirements that I won't budge on as far as long term usage. So if there is something out there that fills my needs and is already pretty affordable, I'm all over it. I don't need to spend just for the sake of spending.
So, my long term requirements are it needs to be made of a metal like stainless steel or perhaps titanium (haven't done any research in this area, so not positive), and it needs to have a glass tank. I know of several RBAs out there that fit that bill, but they are either hard to get hold of or they're expensive enough to give me pause when I'm not certain I'll love them. Short term requirement is only that it will give me an idea if I even want to look for an RBA that fits my long term requirements.
Any advice? It's much appreciated.
