I have been vaping few months now, and started getting more into a hobby.
My mom has been trying to quit and has seen how it helped me. I let her try my vape but its too much for her.

Any suggestions on a simple setup, she doesnt like the throat hits shes sensitive, and she is not after huge vapor production. She will also want to take mouth to lung hits ( I am the opposite)

Appreciate the help :)

The most recommended startup gear for a newbie is the Eleaf iStick 30 watt mod (or equivalent) and the Aspire Nautilus Mini tank. Both are very user friendly and the Nautilus is a great mouth to lung tank. The small size of the iStick 30 watt is very appealing to new users afraid of the larger box mods.

Most think the Innokin Endura T18 is the best starter kit on the market these days , i didn't believe the hype so i read reviews on it and they were very different than every other starter mod i am aware of.

I could not believe how simple and how exceptional the vape quality was out of the box , it's amazing.

You don't even have to worry about setting it up right or changing power settings .

I think it's high praise and what sets it apart from others though is Innokin went over and above with engineering this thing to be as close to a real cig experience as you can get , it hits that experience perfectly imo and it's very very small as well .

The reviews praise it for having an incredibly real cig like experience and thats important for newbies.

I bought the eGo One Mini kit for a friend of mine (she wanted something small and slick, it almost looks like a smoke) and she loves it!
She uses the 1 ohm coils and they make nice vapor and flavor, I tried it myself.

But the Stick+Nautilus is good too, my friend just didn't want to carry a square battery for some reason.

Got to be the 'old' favorite of iStick and Nautilus.
Coolfire and GS Tank?
iTasteVV and some mini Kanger tanks with cotton coils?
:)
My vote for a beginner is that Nautilus Mini with the iStick 20Watt. Satisfying, simple with a variety of replacement heads available. And the entire setup for around $50 if you shop around. I've been Vaping for four years now and the combination was part of my initial rotation and still remains so;)

The ONLY way i would consider anything by Eleaf is if i needed 100 watts for dirt cheap money , thats their reputation , build the cheapest mods possible to sell the most and it works for them .

They will outright refuse to cover any of their mods under warranty , they have done that repeatedly to many people over the years , it's a throwaway mod and thats how they build and market them.

Baditude talked about how his sister even got the runaround from them , if you heard the reasons you would be outraged.

Their Parent company Joytech just broke free of them because it was effecting their reputation , that says it all.

Sigelei (superior in every way to Eleaf) has their 75 watt all aluminum mod now for under $40.00 and they just released a new 90 watt mod for around the same price , they have a stellar reputation.

Phil Busardo recently said Eleaf quality and service is at the very bottom compared to most other known mod makers but thats their MO , they sell a lot because they are very CHEAPLY priced.

Best bang for your buck is the eleaf basic 30$ for an all in one kit. Has great reviews a 2300 mah battery one button operation gs air 2 tank (great for mtl) Eleaf iStick Basic Full Kit
I'd say spend as little as possible bc who knows if she'll stick with it yet from all the reviews its a decent lit mod.

I just just ordered up an Aspire Premium kit myself. I bought essentially the same rig in separate pieces (with the 1600mah) battery before that and I want a duplicate. And it seems like a very good value and I'm really impressed with the quality (fit and finish, etc) of Aspire's stuff. I also ordered up a pair of the steel sleeve/tank replacements because I'm a little paranoid about dropping and breaking a tank. I gave my wife an EVOD2 kit that I had picked up and it seems pretty simple as well and the price was very good at $50 for two complete setups, extra coils and a charger. Might start with something like that just to keep from pouring too much money into it of she's not into it. YMMV

I had forgotten all about the Sigelei and I just picked one up and coupled it with my Aspire Mini which indeed makes for a great pair and vape. Good suggestion @herb
