colt45 while they would be safe to vape they are water based so they will thin your juice out. On the Lorann line of flavors the super strength flavor oils (not really oil) is the one to use for DIY. People also use the "natural flavors" line but they are not as strong in flavor as the super strength. Below is the website which will provide you with more info:

Ok i misunderstood, i thought the ones with oil in the name should not be used like peppermint oil or orange oil. i've already used some like butter rum. according to the lorann website all the flavors that actually say oil on the bottle contain natural oils insoluble in water. that is why i asked about the emulsifieds. i love citrus and all lorann citrus are insoluble in water

I know that is confusing when you are getting started. The site I posted lists all the ingedients if you click the info tab. It is a nice reference. You may also want to check out One Stop DIY.
