So i just done my first mix.

Nothing much for a first attempt. I just got my order of 555 high and it is pretty bland on it's own. That was the plan, get a juice with not a lot of taste to it.
For mixing I used the dropper from a JC sampler bottle, added 5 full droppers and 1/2 of the cheesecake flavor. Right now to me it tastes like vaping cream soda.

I think i am going to enjoy this :D.

I also have a bottle of high quality food grade VG ordered at a local health foods store. That should be in on Thursday.

Let the mixing begin. :D:D

Thanks sun ...... i got lucky and found a gourmet candy store in a nearby town that sells the 1 dram bottles for $1.50. Figured it was worth that much to try it out.

Have mixed up a batch of the blackberry but not tried it yet.

Yummy! :p I'm going to have to get the cheesecake flavor after hearing how good it is... and will mix with the blackberry I made & have "blackberry cheesecake" boy does that sound good!!! :D

Mixxy, I'm going to have to try mixing the two at work tomorrow. Will let you know how that goes.

I did actually up my mix a little. Used a whole dropper of lorann to 5 droppers of Jane's 555 high so i should be running at around 15% flavoring. Can definitely taste the different flavors.

I will be in town again on Thursday evening picking up my VG. May have to stop into the candy store and see what other flavors i can find. Really want to try the english toffee.

UkUsa--Glad to hear you are going to try the English Toffee--but watch out as this flavor will blow you right out of the water. Of all the LorAnn flavors, this one is the most powerful. But it is so good if you use the right amount--work up slowly. The first time I mixed it I put in the normal ratio of about 10% and the flavor almost made me sick. But it smelled so good I gave it another try at 5% and it was fantastic. The Cheesecake lives up to its name also but you need to use the normal ratio --both excellent--Happy vaping --Sun:)

Sun - thanks for the warning about the toffee. I really enjoyed cash's riskee but was thinking if i mix it down with some vg then i'd want something to bolster the flavor up a little. Figured that would work pretty good with it.

Elle - the candy store i found had the marshmallow flavor. I had it in my hand but swapped it for the cheeseecake. Maybe i'll get some and try it with the banana kick juice i have coming.

When i first went in the store i was talking to the owner about what i was going to use it for. He was very interested and had never heard of them.

i tried Chocolate Hazelnut today....it's my first so i don't know.....
i fail to taste the chocolate,and it has a strong alcohol taste which i do not like.....

i also bought Butter Rum ,Mint Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla Butternut.
i hope they will be better.....(or i'm doing something wrong)

Parapo--what ratios are you using --Flavor to VG/pg?

PG is very runny - about he consistency of baby oil, and VG is very thick syrup.

I use PG:VG at 1:1 Ratio. No water because then it gets too runny.

YouTube - 00000000 restored

I get my flavors in the mail tomorrow. Holy crap these are gonna sell like candy.
pn0yb--you will be like a kid in a candy store tomm when your flavors arrive--LOL--Have some fun and I liked the video--Sun:thumb:

Please do let me know how it comes out! It sounds yummy... and I probably won't be able to go and buy the cheesecake flavor until the weekend :cry:

i put less than 1ml in a 10ml bottle (comercial liquid) chocolate flavor.

it tasted like nothing and i wanted to boost it a bit....

I used Kate's recipe with 1ml flavoring with 4ml VG (on all except the english toffee, I used slightly less) and thought it was just right. It sounds like you just need to up the flavoring :)

BP = British Pharmacopoeia
USP = US Pharmacopoeia

It's a measure of purity, it means the substance is pharmaceutical grade or as pure as you can get. Other grades such as industrial grade have more impurities.

Thanks Kate! I'm going shopping today. Hopefully I can find all the right stuff to start experimenting.

I want to thank all of you for the smorgasbord of information!

These flavors rock!

However - you must start with a light ammount at first. Too much flavoring and you start to get this "universal" flavor you get with all flavors (after aroma). Use very sparringly, probably 5 drops er 15ML should do the trick for most flavors.

Pralines Cream.... hmmm tastes and smells like that caramel pecan ice cream you buy at Rite-Aid (Thriftys brand)
