I love this little guy, but it frustrates me. Took a pic of my settings on escribe....(0.5 coil)
When I vape it on the low 9W, the pod lasts 10+ fillings. That's good for me, but the vape borders on the weak side. I just need that little bit more...so I set it to the 10W. As soon as I do that, it burns the coil... I can taste it immediately.
The problem I think is with the wicking...to much power and the wicking don't keep up.
I tried soooo many settings but always come back to the same problem.
Hopefully someone has some new advice for me...

In addition to what @BillW50 mentioned, your boost is at 3. I believe that means it fires up to 12W not 9W. I set mine to 0.
Electric Tobacconist has good price on pods and only need to spend $20 for free shipping.
Get eScribe and turn your wattage/boost/warmth down if you want the pods to last more than a few days. I have mine set at 9/2/1 for 0.5 ohm and 12/2/1 for 0.25 ohm pods.

Its weakish on 10 but burns on 12. I since set it up to 11 and its a little bit better now, but right on the edge of burning. It still frustrates me that its so sensitive to that small power adjustment....but it is what it is, I suppose.

How much does DIY juice costs per ml nowadays? Deals on premium juice usually cost me between 12¢ to 14¢ per ml for freebase. I am not sure why, but nic salt juices are 50¢ or more per ml and usually sold in 30ml or less bottles.
It's been a long time since I've put a cost against diy but it's probably about half or less depending on what strength you mix at. Not to mention it's fun to experiment and come up with recipes that are catered to your own specific tastes. I normally use no more than 10% flavoring and use 100mg freebase that I buy for $40 a liter. Flavors range from 1.50 to 3.50 for 10ml. If there's a flavor you use a lot then you can buy bulk and save more. I buy VG by the gallon. I don't remember what I paid for the last one.
So that would come out to 18.25 cents per ml then plus shipping unless you buy two bottles and get free shipping.
I've heard that it's really good. Maybe I'll try it sometime. I'm sure I'll need more pods so could add a bottle to try. I was thinking that there was a clone recipe out there somewhere. Have you tried it to compare?
I have tried every clone of DL Lemon Tart & nope none taste like the OG. On VU there’s two persons cloning right now. So there’s hope. I wouldn’t use it in your Orion. Since it’s a commercial ejuice your coils will gunk. I use in my rta’s.
Yes, I understand. I would only use it in an rta. Now you've peaked my curiosity. After I try the .25 and .5 pods, I'll probably order some extras and grab a bottle to try.
I'm figuring around 4 cents per ml for the 12mg nic DIY that I make. Can be done cheaper I'm sure.
