I'm super surprised how much I use my Orions SnapDragon NY. I thought I would use them more when I am out and about. But I am using them like 90% of the time anyway. So what pods did you order with it? Personally, I don't think you will be disappointed in either one really. :)

I ordered the .5Ω pods. I thought this would give me better battery life.
The orion is such a great looking mod !
I was on the fence with it as the internal battery and the price and availability of the pods in the future.
Love my 2 LV Therions 75c and the Replay, so I hope this is the same great vape time after time with no burnt hits!
I should be getting the Orion in a few days.

just set one up and vaping the .5ohm @ medium with a pear apple passionfruit flavor 12mg salts. Its effective and the ergonomics/quality/form factor is really nice. The flavor is building. I am waiting for the coil to break in fully and give the best flavor

Has anyone put in the refrigerator and used the replay for that chilled peak flavor effect?

battery seems lousy with the .25 pod even at the lowest setting. Can't find anywhere that sells the .5 pods without charging the same price as the pods for shipping.

Well, just to update on my experience so far...I purchased four pods with my device and I have used three of the four to find a single pod that doesn't leak. I still have not found one that doesn't. I'm very careful with my devices and they don't have to take much abuse during the day aside from being in my pocket (the only item in that particular pocket) but no matter what I do I get juice that leaks around the seams. Really frustrating considering the expense of the pods and the device. I ordered a few new pods the other day from a different vendor, so we'll see if that makes any difference.

I noticed that on several of the reviews, new pods come with sort of a "safety seal" that covers up the pins on the bottom of the pod. None of mine have the sticker that goes on the bottom. Do any of you have new pods that don't have the sticker? I can also see glue residue that's inside the pod in direct contact with my liquid. Maybe I just got a bad batch since I haven't seen that mentioned before.

Okay, rant over for the night. Let's hope I can get it sorted out!

I wonder if it is your juice? Maybe it breaks down the glue? I tried 7 pods so far and they all are bone dry all of the time.

No those pods with the sticker are Orions that comes with 3 pods (normally sold outside of the US). And only the ones installed on the Orion and the other two pods are just like ours without stickers.

I actually had the same thought about the juice ingredients but I DIY my own juice with unflavored nic salt, peppermint and usually a small amount of sweetener like stevia or monk fruit. I tried a simple nic salt/glycerin mix in my last pod when it was new and I still had leaks. I would imagine that pretty much rules out the possibility of ingredients having some effect on the seal. Interestingly enough, the leaks seem to be completely sealed off when the pod is in place. I only see the liquid when I remove the pod, but it's never leaked down the sides of the mod when the pod is in place.

Thanks for the info on the pods. I hadn't considered the difference between the kit and refill pods so that makes me feel a little better on that end of things.

I hope these new pods will work as well as yours have been!

Wow! That is interesting. Say they say that there are different kinds of salt nic. Do you know anything about them? As some are formulated for more of a throat hit and some for less. Maybe try one pod with just glycerin and that shouldn't leak (you don't have to vape it I don't think, just have it sitting there by itself). Once you are convinced that pod doesn't leak, try with the mix of nic salt/glycerin.

I have a few salt nic juices and interesting I have two pods sitting on my desk with salt nic in them. For the past two days I had them sitting there and no leaks whatsoever. But most of my juices are still freebase.

I didn't expect the deck to be molded with the rest. I was just wondering if the sides were put together from flat pieces like an aquarium. I'm glad that's not the case!

The alternative to gluing the deck in place is just to use o-rings. But I think it makes sense that they used glue. On a pod this large, o-rings might not be enough. The Voopoo Panda wasn't glued and it leaked bad. Suorin glues all of their decks (Air, Drop, Ishare, etc).

So I sort of did an experiment today with my Orion. I was on a 4 wheeler and it was cold outside so I had a jacket on and put the Orion in my pocket. The area I was in has about a 350' high hill which is damn near vertical, as I was just nearing the top I heard something hit the rack on the back of the 4 wheeler, turned to look and watched that little Orion Take a Huge tumble down the entire length of the hill. It was like watching a Cirque Du Soleil tumbler as it bopped and weaved past trees and rocks all the way down. I figured awww crap there goes $75 down the toilet. I turned around and headed back down the hill, figuring I would never find it. To my amazement, there it was upside down glistening (good thing I got a blue one) in the sea of grass at the bottom of the hill. I checked it out and it looked fine sans a few minor scratches. I banged the dust off and took a drag off it to get a pleasant earthy mouthful of hill dirt...Yummy NOT.... Otherwise it was just fine. Can not believe it didn't come apart or get more messed up after the number of bounces it took. Anyway just had to share that as it was kind of funny when it happened. Kudos to Lost Vape. I am fairly certain not many Vape devices of any type could have survived that fall. Just wish I had gotten it on video.....

I'm eagerly awaiting this to be released in Australia... One thing that I haven't seen mentioned (but is a *massive* plus for me) is that this is a fully regulated mod - no drop in performance as the battery drops - combined with the replay function, going to be a cracker no matter the need to replace the pods (hope they aren't too expensive for us down under!!)

Interesting on the leaking. I'm still on my first 2 pods (many refills on the .25, and a few on the .5) without a single drop or bit of seeping anywhere yet. Its been pretty much living in my 5th pocket.

The .25 still tastes / vapes great but I'm starting to see a little degradation of battery life using that pod. I haven't been tracking, but if I had to guess, I'm probably at more than 15 fills on that one now.

I'm guessing you use Stevia and Monk Fruit in your food as well? How is the monk fruit flavour wise? Maybe even compared to erythritol?

I do use stevia and monk fruit in foods on occasion, but because of the aftertaste I typically just use sucralose for foods and drinks. The solutions that I use for eliquids are from NN and I pretty much exclusively use them over all other sweeteners. I've tried erythritol in the past and I've found it just doesn't have enough sweetness to really give me the strength that I like (I'm a southerner, so I usually like my juices to be really sweet like my iced tea), but stevia and monk fruit are perfect for my tastes.

In small quantities, I don't really get any aftertaste at all with stevia and I find it to be pretty comparable to sucralose. Monk fruit tends to have a slight taste to it--I'm not the best at describing tastes, but it sort of has a slightly nutty/fruity taste to it if the concentration is high enough. Strangely enough, I think it tastes great when I use it with mint-flavored recipes and I find myself using it over stevia on most occasions.

I can also say that coil life that I get with either of those so much better compared to sucralose and when it comes to pods I want to maximize the life of my pods as much as I can so I highly recommend them if DIY is your thing.
