Really? A yard stick is a measuring device that can be used for many many thing including cores of wood and ect.... My granddaddy was born in 1913 and the man only had a 4th grade education but he was smart
By todays standards absolutely. If you really want to be amazed look up what used to be done with framing squares. Lots of higher math built into them if you know how to use it. Still have a book that was my fathers. Will look on-line and see what is out there...

Your post was after I had said living kills. It followed logic to me that was what you had asked for proof about. I was not dodging when I replied you could visit a graveyard for proof. It was merely stating the obvious, or I had thought the obvious.
Cut our firewood around 18 inches here. Use an old rod carried along. Was not trying to engage anyone in an ego war, thought I was talking plain enough. Problem easily resolved.
Recall yard sticks were also used as good measures of youngin's. Worked especially well when a switch was not at hand.

Meh. I saw the movie Tin Men. I don't trust the length of a yard stick.My granddaddy taught me alot of uses for a yard stick... measuring wood, egos, using it for a walking stick, stiring a pot cooking outdoors,the list is very long!
First shots fired. Links have been launched. Appears we're seeing the beginnings of another skirmish in the ongoing Source Wars. What will the retaliation be? Source undermining? Shooting of messengers? Removal of context? Calls for common sense? Questioning of logic? Hard to tell this early in the battle. One can only assume the dreaded straw men will be called into action as things heat up.

They can tell you the truth about things that don't matter like a sports score or what stupid celebrities are banging, but anyone who actually believes that any of them are independent or genuine or have integrity or are trying to help you instead of intentionally deluding and manipulating you are mentally ill.
The people under the delusion these liars have any credibility typically have very strong opinions about things they know absolutely nothing about, consider themselves very well informed and get very angry at anyone who states simple facts that conflict with the fiction they have been led to believe, instead of the people who were paid to shovel a pile of .... down their throat.

And who exactly are you to accuse others of being mentally ill if they do not believe or agree with your way of thinking? It's not about whether i agree or not with what your saying..it's calling others mentally ill if they don't agree with your way of thinking that i take issue with.

Which in and of itself might not be so bad until you investigate and discover that what they want is not to actually understand what is happening in the world, but to pretend that the liars they believe are honest for some mentally ill reason, and to also pretend that the authorities that rule over them are honest like the liars tell them, because that makes it very easy to abandon any kind of responsibility like a sane adult and pretend your betters, the altruists who just care about you so much are taking care of everything.
Escaping into fantasy world, "think positive" (and ignore reality and turn on people who care about reality instead of pretending everything is great), mental illness.

Of course a bunch of lying parasites need you to believe this gas which sustains plant life which in turn sustains human life is a terrible threat, so that you are mentally ill and go along with what they're doing, which is taxing you for the right to breathe, aka robbing you, aka slavery.
