Knock it off in here.

The back and forth flaming going on in threads lately is going to stop.

There is bad news about flying kites, bullets, immigrants, auto accidents, automation taking jobs, alleged climate changed due to human intervention.

If you take a little time and do some research on each of these and other bad news headlines, you find there is a common thread. They all continually use the scarcity myth as the basis of their lies, in some form or another.

For example climate change from human intervention is plain out dung science. Earth's average temperature since the early 1800's has remained around 8 degrees Kelvin. It climbed from the early 1800's from something like 8.9 to 8.12, only. And climate change exists, of itself, with or without human kind. One match lit in a room would equate to the same amount of CO2, of all the cars being driven non-stop for all these years since cars have been around. This has been proven.

But we are told by leaders and scientists literally in fear for their lives, their livelihoods that human kind has wreaked all kinds of havoc on our resource limited Earth. Further they will tell you all about Peak Oil, where allegedly no more oil can be produced as we've hit the maximum limit where oil will not be replaceable. It is documented that the scarcity of oil is a lie brought forward by Rockefeller in order to corner the market on it. The truth is oil is a mineral that continually is produced by our Earth, and at a fair clip at that. If we really had a peak oil limit, you think the Saudi's would now be drowning the world in oil production?

We're told food is limited and this is why children in Africa starve. This has been proven false. There is far more than ample food for all on Earth, and always will be. There is just lack of will to ensure all eat. Instead the few in control desire to not feed the different. So, we get told it is too expensive to distribute food. Is it as expensive then to teach them to grow food in place? I doubt it. Too expensive if it were your own child? I doubt it.

Then, we come to tobacco, pharmacology. Well, tobacco gives leaders money to keep the leaders in power. Using power they retain the illusion, control. We're told control is a sacred creature, scarce. Only leaders may coddle control. Odd that we as consumers have attained control. We no longer want tobacco because we have realized it kills us. We find a different solution, one not involving their money, their control. Well, we see they starve out the different already. We're different, why ought we expect different?

In which case it returns to something I said in another thread. Even propaganda can kill. All these negative stories, vaping and otherwise have an effect. It is not pleasant at all. It makes me physically ill, horrified. But I'm allegedly the terrorist in this case, I think differently, I act differently, I solve problems differently. Different is scary to those who try to hold on to control they never truly had. They want to share one resource they know is not scarce, fear. Sorry, I no longer consent to being afraid. I'll go look up what facts you have on offer. None to offer? Well you'll call it on faith. We've seen how religion works too.

"Sure, let's have more bad news!" :)

Uhm, you do realize that 8˚K is -265.15˚C or -445.27˚F… I may need another winter coat.

You might. We're not having any Global Warming. I was not aware of the conversions myself. To be honest, I was conveying what was conveyed by a Nobel winning scientist , who returned his award. He no longer could tolerate having to deny facts and to parrot a lie.

The Scientific journal Nature told him they would not publish his works. He laughed. "Don't publish any at any given, I'm strictly research."

I would say that he is likely correct with his mean temperature. It is all the perspective of the planet on a whole, not merely surface temperature.

No hook there, merely a statement of what is. And hey, lots of bad news is out there.

You can get hit by a bus just walking outside. You have to live though, don't you? You can think on that all you want, respond or not. All I'm doing is making a statement.

"Read the bad news, realize a bunch is lies used for other things. Go out and question, think, figure it out for yourself."

Seems logical and general enough advice, without forcing a point of view upon anyone. What do I know though? Someone suggests that's got hook/s. Bah. "Go fish somewhere else, I'm eating rice and drinking tea here, It's quiet."

I will respectfully disagree with your assertion on climate change. This is not the proper avenue for a debate on that topic, and a debate I don't wish to engage in. :)

Fair enough. :) We agree to disagree. I do agree though you're correct this is not venue for such a debate. We're discussing vaping here. But vaping it seems to me is so ingrained and inter connected to all else, I often forget others may not see that. We see differently. It happens. :)

Respectfully, I don't think it helps the vaping cause if you link your theories on climate change and peak oil, to the media propaganda against vaping.

Been there, did that. Turned out I was an unwitting party to Geo -Political Financial Fraud.
Party - Dupont/Government
Problem - Ozone Depletion
Cause - Freon R12

*oh, no one notices for Quite some time:
1) Dupont R12 Patent rights Expired
2) Government played into a TAX opportunity
3) Dupont Gained - R-134(safer) Freon
4) Government Gained - Regulatory Taxation on R-134

Pay to Play, anyone? The big boy's don't mind. In fact it has become mainstream practice.

As to the earlier post, it is called Political Science. Fit the Science to the Political climate.(IPCC?)

I've got news for you guys. In 100 years, when there's been thousands of studies that all say vaping is safer than cigarettes, there's still going to be literal hordes of ...... that won't believe it. We still can't convince people that vaccines are safe under those exact circumstances.

When Mt. St. Helen blew her top in 1980 she put more green house gases in the atmosphere than 400 years of man's influence with cars, burning coal, the industrial economy. Literally 1/3 of the mountain is no longer there.

I'm all for protecting the environment but there needs to be some sanity in the environment movement.

People in California xoykd create Fire breaks around their hkne because if the endangered Kangaroo rat. A wild fire happened and 200 homes burned down and the rats died anyway

California can't dam uo rivers for water storage because an endangered fish that isn't native there in the first place.

Back in the 70s tva wanted to build a 93% efficient reactor but was stopped by a 3 inch long fish.

Thus climate change is all a hoax to sky rocket your electric vand food prices to make the elitists richer than they already are.

Actually, there is a lot of good news, but because it does`nt fit the other side`s agenda, (which Google sold out to along time ago, See googles actions in China for more) and that other side has serious claws, you have to look for it, and be there before it gets buried by the aforementioned other side.

Vaping is about as political as politics gets.

classwife said: What rips my heart out is that people are believing the smear crap.
A couple of weeks ago I had 2 ladies at my desk.
One went out for a smoke, the other told me she really wished her friend could stop smoking.
I showed her one of my e-cigs...asked her if she knew what it was...
She said "Is that one of those electronic cigarettes ? Those are WORSE for you than cigarettes !!"
I told her if she really wants to help her friend to please do a little reading and look beyond the scaremongering "news stories" she has heard...and that I have been using them for almost 6 years.

it's truly hard to hear things of this nature, and, i hear it all of the time. my own family, for example. my own MOTHER! I will have her 100 and 10 percent believing in mods/PVs. I'll have her COMPLETELY and totally FOR mods/PVs and AGAINST traditional cigs.... But then a week later, she'll slip and say something like "your little e-cigarettes were on the news again, they are WORSE for you than smoking, you know!?" & I have to start all over again, trying to tell her that they're SAFER than cigarettes, it's as-if she has dementia!? Selective dementia, when it comes to the government or the media, teaching her what to say & believe. I don't get it!

I mean, I've had her having 5 min conversations with my siblings, about how vaping is completely SAFE, compared to cigarettes... & then the very next day, I'll hear her say "Rachael Ray is against those e-cigarettes, I dont know if I want you smoking those things, they have more carcinogens in them than cigarettes!" It makes me want to CRY when I hear this BS out of her mouth, a DAY after hearing her giving a speech on how they are much SAFER than traditional cigarettes... Selective Dementia, I tell ya! It's terrible! :'(

Respectfully, I don't think it helps the vaping cause if you link your theories on climate change and peak oil, to the media propaganda against vaping.

What I was pointing out that big government, big tobacco, big pharmacology, big military, big banking ... the Elite crooks that they are, do lie to us. They lie about d___ near everything. They are lying about vaping as well. We are seeing through the lies. We are taking their control, they truly did not have..

Not to derail nor to create flames, rather as reference. Here is where I'm getting informed about Global Warming/climate change. It is only one source. There are more that read in a similar way. They disprove a hoax.

You may view the video or not. I am only a vessel relaying what is there. I likely garble it to explain it with any quality. He does not though.

Not sure I understand how putting truths together to abolish lies is not helpful. That's alright though. Excuse me, I will be vaping a bit until I need to go feed my critters. :)

Well, I'll be drawn by mules! I did not have any desire to engage the political. To be honest I do not vote. My reasoning is valid. I vote no confidence in the broken system. Maybe I ought to write that in. Trouble being you have to declare a party and all this other muck. I belong to nothing as far as any party goes. I read part of Listen Little Man! That along with War is A Racket and other such reading does tend to present a person with a very clear if not bleak view. This is why I avoid voting, I see it as not doing anything. I'll vote by what I buy or get behind. I stand on what I grow on, as farmers of old said.

My favorite the sky is falling hoax concerns amphibians. Every so many years you will start seeing the stories of
five legged frogs, two headed turtles and, three eyed tadpoles etc.. . The press will go on and on how pollution,
generally produced by overuse of chemicals in the farming industry are the cause. There are even studies allegedly
confirming this. The problem is this phenomenon has been observed since the middle ages. Periods of genetic mutation
interspersed with declines in the population. Then every thing returns to normal and the cycle starts over again.
More scary stories, more studies proving it's caused by man and, more calls for additional research.
Five years ago Lake Superior was drying up before our very eyes. Now you don't hear a word about that.
Levels in the Great lakes are pretty much normal.
