Hey guys, I just want to write this posts to say loud and clearly that as a reviewer, I've pushed my devices and tried everything under the sun because I like to know what works, what doesn't, and what guidelines to explain to people for each device.
With this, I've naturally tested all types of draw techniques: soft, caressing inhales, stout, sharp jabs, strong-suctioned draws, light, quick vapes, three-step pipe puffs, lung inhales, mouth inhales, barely inhaling anything at all, slapping on air controllers, cutting off the air, leaving the air open, and trying all the puff methods with the air flow controller as well. I've tried it all. I've also smoked a pipe before, quite a many time, I simply know how to do this stuff.
And guess what? None of it makes a slick lick worth of difference in my tests. It's literally the same deal as smoking a tobacco pipe. If you do a huge elephant draw that's downright so comedic that a clown wouldn't imitate it as he inhales before blowing up a baloon, sure, the vape will get hot on your tongue and the taste will finally get metallic. But that's it. Every other vaping style under the sun makes no difference whatsoever for me. If I had to rate the 2nd most dangerous one, it'd actually be the three-step pipe puff - in some situations it'll give a slight metallic haze for some reason I can't explain, but strange mess happens.
But even that's pushing it, just looking for something to describe. I've experienced no positive or negative difference with any of these methods really. It is total malarky. vaping is vaping, and these coils produce vapor with the slightest wisp of air, and they produce it if you huff and puff like the big bad wolf. At the very most, you'll get the difference in the speed the coil heats up like you would the difference between a battery being set on 3.3 and then, at most, 3.8. It's not like a hephalump could come along and burn out a coil instantly by drawing too hard. It simply doesn't happen.
I mean, if someone wants to point me to a thread where some user who was having trouble with burnt tastes all the sudden went "Oh look-ee here, I slowed down my vaping technique, because before, I was trying to create a vortex inside my mouth that defied gravity, but now, my Protank II is working crystal clear with a good ol' granny inhale!" without changing the head first or dialing down the voltage (which was probably the problem all along), then I'd be happy to read more about it, but I use the search feature pretty extensively - I haven't seen it.
I'm just overall getting tired of this factor being included in ways than fanboys of certain products attack "newbies" when really, it's just a bunch of hubbub. It's diddly-squat. I feed this type of mish-mash to my dogs and then throw their feces out and let the information soak up in the yard. I wouldn't bathe my hogs in this type of wash. That's all I can say about it, because I've tried every inhalation method and it seems to effect nothing, and until someone comes out with some revolutionary type of inhalation method, I don't care to hear jack squat about this. It's getting ridiculous.
