All this rain, we decided to go to a movie today. Saw The Lion King. I have never seen any version of it and it was fantastic! WOW, what they do with animation today, simply mind boggling. A real, feel good movie. Go Simba!!!

I admit, I had to do a lot of deep breathing exercises at times to keep from open, all out crying, but the humor fixed everything.

I love seeing the product of your green thumb. You are very talented.
I would have sworn that I was here yesterday. Wow, it has been quite a while since I haven't checked in daily.
This morning I was having my first cup of coffee and noticed that the outside temp was 81 and cloudy. I finished my cup of coffee and went outside and started mowing and edging my front and side yard. The temp for the last week or so has been high 95°+ and low 100°. Definitely not good temps for me to be out doing yard work. It felt good and we actually had a 5-minute rain shower with the big drops. I love being out in the rain, as long as I have on a hat and don't get my glasses wet. I have a western straw hat that I have started wearing to keep the sun off the back of my neck so it is perfect in the rain.
DirecTV had a free HBO and Cinemax weekend. They actually had some good (to me) movies. I was able to record the movies Deadwood, Aquaman, Blade Runner 2049, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald. I'll be able to watch them later at my choosing. I love my DVR.

Good morning. We're definitely in the Ausust muggies. Yesterday I was harvesting tomatoes, onions, peppers, green beans and cukes. Not really working hard, but within 5 minutes I was all sweaty. You just have to stand outside and breathe and you can work up a sweat! Doesn't look much better for the next 10 days, but I still like it better than snow and ice!

Good morning. We're definitely in the Ausust muggies. Yesterday I was harvesting tomatoes, onions, peppers, green beans and cukes. Not really working hard, but within 5 minutes I was all sweaty. You just have to stand outside and breathe and you can work up a sweat! Doesn't look much better for the next 10 days, but I still like it better than snow and ice!

Sounds like Florida summer weather Janet . Right now the humidity is 94%. I guarantee that within 5-10 minutes outside I'll be soaking wet

Cooled down here, rainy and stormy. Of course it has, since I am finally getting the pool replacement today. Not complaining though, it has been too hot and humid lately.
