Good morning all :)

Why doesn't the government ban the damm CIGS?/!!!

Oh, never mind... they're bought off by Big tobacco Co's!
What I don't understand is why Big tobacco doesn't do the same thing for vaping. These companies stand to lose a lot of money there too from the sale of any vspe devices they market.

50th Anniversary of "Abbey Road" .. if you can believe it .. and, a nice, new, remix video gift .. beautifully done ..

OMG , really? This makes me feel seriously old :(

From the "I Never Thought I'd Live to See the Day" .. File

Ten O'clock News had a piece on "Kids Going To School Wearing Bulletproof Backpacks" .. just the other day, another channel had a piece on Schools requiring clear backpacks ..

Apparently, the Bulletproof ones are a growth business .. Welcome to the New Normal ..

Yep - For over a year or more . . . 1) Transparent (Handed out to MSD Students when they returned - however, canceled because of young women's privacy concerns) & 2) started approximately same time . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

The clear backpacks have been around for awhile and honestly, I don't know how much good a bulletproof backpack is going to do. You have to be wearing it for one thing and it's only going to protect the back. And they're only worn at school. What about playing in the street or going to the store or playground? Yep, I never thought I'd see the day where some people would actually go out of their way to hurt innocent people, even children.

Personally, although I'd say the bulletproof ones do provide some degree of protection, most Parents are likely buying them out of fear and the Companies that make them are cashing in on tragedies .. it's the American Way, after all ..

The other thing that comes to mind is :: Do kids these days still schlep around a bunch of books / etc in a backpack .. ?? Because, if so, the added weight of the backpack with armor just adds to what would seem to be a fairly heavy load to begin with, especially for a kid .. I'd figure most homework and what not would be on-line these days, but what do I know .. ??

hope you like yours when they arrive.
I like them so far. I didn't get the kit, just mods. I really like the fit and feel in my hand. I was using the Pico X and liked the "rubber" covering and was really glad to see that the Solo has rubber as part of the design. I now have the Pico relegated to the spare shelf with a Kanfun V5 topper.
I had two of the Pico X mods and was really hoping that they would be my go-to mods but after having one of them fail after a minor drop I lost confidence in them. I took it apart and discovered a wire broke off from the circuit board for the down button.
I really like the Kayfun V3 Mini and have them on both of the Aegis Solos and also have 4 of the V3 Minis still in the box for spares. I also have some spare glass along with o-rings and spare parts.

We only got the mods too. I wasn't keen on the wide bore 810 drip tip and didn't know anything about the tank as to air flow draw. I just assumed from that drip tip and it's marketed as a sub-ohm tank it was more geared to cloud chasers. Although I like a looser draw than Janet we're both MTL style vapers.

Another reason, I didn't want another drop in coil tank to stock pile yet more coils.

Since then I've learned 1.) you can buy an adapter to use a standard size drip tip and 2.) a RBA deck for it. Still I feel better off using a 'real' RTA and not a small RBA deck for a tank meant to use drop in coils. Still curious about it's air flow on the inhale, can it be dialed down to MTL style? If so I'd put it on the wish list, not want list; just to try it out.

I hope they've gone to iPads or laptops. I remember worrying about the weight for our kids schlepping around backpacks stuffed with books. Lockers were never in a convenient place so they always ended up only using lockers for coats.

Speaking of laptops and iPads, I remember our son doing a report that needed a bibliography. We did his research online and had no idea how to set that up - and neither did the teacher!

Good morning Bea, Rose and Mary.

Did Ya' Google "bibliography generator online free":

This one looks "good":

Hope this information might be helpful . . . ;)
.

Thanks for the info Uncle, but the point I was trying to make was how much has changed in so short a period of time (50 year anniversary of Abby Road). Our son is 40 years old now. Boy do I feel old when I think of things like that. I thought our parents saw a lot of changes and now that I'm my mother I know how she felt!
