I am not watching the forecast anymore! la-la-la-la, pulls covers over head.

At first it was a possibility for Sunday, then it was Sunday into Monday, now it's Sunday, Monday and into Tuesday. Last I looked we were in for 12" total which isn't bad over a couple of days, but if there's rain in between snow, it will be a sloppy wet mess to deal with.

Fortunately (?), I can work from home so I may spare myself the commute and dealing with crazies who forgot how to drive in snow.

Uncle…oh, come on…just tell us which one is you in that photo :)

NOPE - Not going to make it easy on anyone - Gotta Guess First . . . :img:

Oh my! I would love to try this, however, I'm the only one in the house that likes Brussel Sprouts.

 So What . . . Make them anyway, have a serving or 2 now - refrigerate the rest - take them out in a couple of days - then reheat them . . . Probably still be as great the next day . . .

Personally, I really like Brussel Sprouts and have about a lb of them all the time . . . Saute w/Olive Oil & Butter, then when slightly cooked - topped off with Real Parmesan Cheese until golden brown . . . YUM YUM YUM . . .

More blooming orchids I don't remember if I posted a couple of these already.

Doesn't really matter if Ya' did - Always GREAT to see "You" post them . . .

Hi folks and good afternoon. :)

Just doing some Black Friday sales shopping today. Scoopin' up vape odds and ends before doomsday. The best kind of shopping is in a nice comfy chair at home. No crowds, no car traffic... perfect. I did experience a little slowdown with the virtual interwebs traffic though.

They received more than 12 inches of snow north of me. We lucked out, this time, thank you very much. I fired up my snowblower a couple days ago. I'm ready. :thumb:

I'm mousing around the Web as well ..

I did hit myfreedomsmokes earlier, they are running an 18% off everything sale with Free Shipping on $50+ .. the only place, it seems to me, that still offers 48mg flavored nic in 120ml size with an 80%PG / 20%VG mix .. scored 6 bottles at around $120 clams shipped .. that's 24 bottles by the time I mix it down to 12mg nic .. so, around $5.00 per 120ml .. (I think) ..

you're the dude half hidden by the lamp ..

Nope - That's one of the 1st timers - he's a Friend of the group of all the young people on the side of the lamp . . . ;)

no, wait .. you're the dude with the beard on the left standing behind the short girl ..

Nope - But Thank you for thinking it was "Me" . . . That so happens to be Richard - the SIL of the hostess, whose much younger then "Me" and a "HUNK" to say the least . . . Been friends with him and his wife even before they got married . . . :pervy:

no, wait .. you're the dude standing next to the dude half hidden by the lamp that looks like he's wearing a hat ..

Nope - That's another of one of the 1st timers and the boyfriend of the woman to the left of him (your right) - they are married now too . . . The other 2 woman are sister (both are the nieces of the Hostess) . . . BTW: Yes - He is wearing a hat . . . :thumb:

am I warm .. ?? :)

WELL - No, but nice try . . .

I'll give everyone a hint - the picture was taken 9 years ago . . .

I bet Ya' did have some very fine Company yesturday . . . IMHO - It wouldn't matter what was served, especially when there is some great conversation that is shared at a table over a huge plate of food with others, it always makes for some fantastic times (although there was only 3 of "Us" had the same good time). . .

Really miss the get together I had with friends for 15 years in New Hope PA . . . there was anywhere from 8 -25 people . . . It was pot-luck - everyone brought something different . . . AND - "We" always a GREAT time . . .

vJbhxyb.jpg

This was a small group of just 19 (17 regulars & only 2 - 1st timers) . . .
Oh Yea - I'm somewhere in that picture . . .

BTW: As I understand, it was quite common in the New England/Caribbean areas that Lobsters (and Fish) was always part of a Feast, especially since they were so available . . . Also, since I was an invited guest, couldn't really argue with having a Lobster Tails & Filet Mignon for dinner - now could I . . . Don't always have it much anymore either . . . So all was - GOOD . . . BTW: Usually have turkey all the time during the week anyway and this weekend I plan to make a tray of Italian Sausage "Stuffing" ("Dressing" really since it wasn't in the Turkey) from scratch to have with it too . . . "After Thanksgiving Sandwich" . . . Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, w/Mayonnaise on Rye Bread . . . YUM ! ! !

'Morning everyone...

My turn to make a guess...
Nope - But Thank you for thinking it was "Me" . . . That so happens to be Richard - the SIL of the hostess, whose much younger then "Me" and a "HUNK" to say the least . . . Been friends with him and his wife even before they got married . . . :pervy:

If that's a clue... Is that you sitting down in the center?...

Uncle you're the second from left, the guy behind the man with the orange shirt?

Well - Although you both picked the same guy - Standing behind Dennis who is wearing the orange Shirt & Vest . . . Nope . . . That's Norm whose wife Diane is standing right next to "OUR" hostess Cindy . . .

If that's a clue... Is that you sitting down in the center?...

YEP - That be "ME" . . .

Of course - I would be right in the middle of the crowd and right next to one of "My" Best Friends Cindy - the Hostess of every "Family" Thanksgiving Dinner for decades . . . Matter of fact, it got so big at times - The main Table wasn't big enough . . . So - Tom (the Host of the Dinners & Creator of all the Furniture/Stainglass Windows & Doors/Lighting fixtures/etc.) had to make another "smaller" table a couple of years before this Dinner - so everyone could sit comfortably (Sad to say - Tom - Died from complications from Diabetes earlier that year :( ) . . .

(Before everyone sat down - lighted up from the bottom so you can see the semi-precious stone top . . .
Oh and BTW: There was absolutely no NEED for a hot plate either . . . ;) )

BTW: Just for "Your" enjoyment . . . Here is "My" Favorite Stainglass Window that Tom created, which actually separated the Living/Kitchen/Dinning area from one of the many work rooms on the second floor of the "Mill" . . . .

I know it is a long post, however I hope everyone enjoyed looking at the photos . . . ;)
