Thanks,Willie:) I've been looking around on Amazon. Maybe I can call one a Christmas gift

Myself, although I'd like to buy the BMW, initially I would likely settle for the Chevy .. it seems to me, these things are pretty much the same from one Brand to the next .. what you're looking for is sturdiness and solid past customer reviews ..

Uncle Willie, my oldest daughter, Rachel, had a different body temperature also. She was always hot.

To make matter worse, she had very, very thick hair. So she shaved her head as a teenager to help her cool off. San Antonio without a/c is very hot.

That's why she insisted on moving north. First to San Francisco. Eventually to Scotland. She's not hot anymore!

The only thing is, I think her body temperature was low, not high like yours.

Immediately to the left of my desk is a window with my air conditioner. I can't take it out and even though I cover and attempt to seal it for the winter months, there is a draft coming from there. The temperature and humidity device I have on my desk frequently registers well below 65 during the winter. I don't own a flat screen TV, so everything I watch is streamed here on my monitor. Add to that, any time spent here or elsewhere on the internet....this is where I sit....;)

One quibble on customer satisfaction as reported by Consumer Reports. High performance and muscle cars always rate high in customer satisfaction, but near the bottom on maintenance and reliability. Some people have special priorities.

Even Consumer Reports can only be used as a guide...;) Because they are a service one has to pay for, of course they want to appear as the best in advising on products or services and are usually very good, but not 100%...;) I subscribed to them for many years and was sometimes very unhappy with purchases made following their recommendations...

I'm so sorry, how miserable! I assume you've already thought about possible ways to relocate the computer.

I'm spoiled. I have a laptop and can move it around wherever I want.

It's all good...;) No place else that I could move the desk and in the hot summer months.....this is the nicest place to be...:) The heated throw works quite well for me...

Excellent solution. I can imagine getting a portable electric furnace and having it warming up the space so well the thermostat on the main heater kicks off and you end up paying more for electric than you save on the heater.

Right now I am using hotpacks with epsom salt on painful parts. Will start PT soon to build core strength on left side. Lifelong poor posture is my problem. My walking-stick keeps me upright for now. May buy one when I have $$, as this is a lifelong problem.

Could be that a minute or so a couple times a day would help to straighten you up :)

Frequently I'll get some gentle pops from my low back, or between the shoulder blades, and when I go back upright I feel straighter and taller.

That and how easy the foot clamp is to use.

Nope, no Edge experience, other than having spent my working life working on the edge. 110KV isn't real forgiving ;)

It might help a bit. But the problem is mild CP, so, like I said, more muscle on the left side would be the biggest help.

When I was in SoCal some time back doing some contract work, as an indulgence that's only available in selected areas, I rented a Tesla P85D for a weekend .. 690 Horse Power and it was like driving the Space Shuttle .. you only live once, right .. ??

Chrome is my default browser, but lately I've been playing with Edge...anybody else? So far, I've found their claim that it's faster is true on the sites I've tried it on...

I use Edge for a number of reasons .. it allows automated things like dumping the History at exit, etc .. Chrome I use on one PC that's running Windows 7 .. I've never compared the speed, but I do like Edge .. and Cortana is the Shizzle .. ;)

I haven't tried Cortana....yet...;) Daughter needed some assistance to help show someone that a Skype account could be set up with an email address instead of using one's cell phone number and I had to set up a new account as I couldn't remember my old user name and password that were used on my old computer.... Skype is showing some new features and improvements since I last used it that I really like...

I thought that perhaps it would be helpful to elaborate a bit on one very useful function that Skype has added...;)
Daughter here in PA is taking a class that's in CA and is apparently the only one not physically present for it, so she needed Skype to participate via video call. Using "translate" brings up a chat box in which everything said is presented in text at the same time. This enables her to have a record to refer to, but also...it occurred to me that it would be very helpful for those with some hearing impairment to also be able to participate in video conversations...:)
