We got a break from high temps yesterday, contrary to the forecast. Hope they got it right for today, which was supposed to be humane temps!

My "mantra" (well, one of 'em!) is "hope for the best and prepare for the worst." For me and vaping, that's nic for life (estimate and optimistic ), replaceable battery mods - lots. And RTAs, also lots. As mentioned, if the unthinkable happens - i.e. vaping is NOT decimated! - then I don't need to spend any more $$ unless some particular shiny catches my eye.

Had a spectacular view of the ISS tonight! It's a miracle! Our skies are always cloudy when there's something interesting going on. I've seen it twice before but it was just glimpses between clumps of clouds. Tonight most of its' path was unobstructed.

Good morning. My last post was written last night out only realized this morning that I hadn't sent it. Oh well, better late than never.

This is the time when everything in the garden starts coming in all at once! My one zucchini plant is going nuts. It takes up almost 1/4 of the garden and is producing enough to sink a ship. Peppers are doing great this year. I'm going to have to make a large batch of stuffed peppers soon and feed the freezer for later. The onions aren't doing as well as last year, but it's been so dry. Isaias should take care of that soon.

When you leave the Zlide on the Solo and Zlide open the Zlide to add liquid, the PV turns off .. nifty ..

Still on battery one, 340 puffs .. liquid got right to the bottom of the window, so I topped it off .. 'saul good ..

Oh, and I moved to 2 air holes open, which seemed to cool the vape down slightly ..

No word from Sandra ..

I think that was some kind of cosmic coincidence. There's no electronic communication between the Zlide and the Solo.

I ordered some more Zlides today also. Found them on sale at Mist Hub for a few bucks more than at Sourcemore. Mist Hub is USA based and I'm gun shy of ordering from China. It's been 112 days since I placed 2 orders with Fasttech and I still don't have them. I ordered my first Zlides from Mist Hub and they arrived promptly.

Have you ordered recently from Sourcemore, is their shipping all screwed up too, like Fastech. My FT orders sat at a Chinese airport for over two months before they finally arrived in Chicago a few days ago. Hoping to finally get them this week.

Well today I had to retire my last AW 18350 battery. I bought 10 of them almost 6 years ago for my Provaris and in the last couple of months they were only keeping a charge for 5-6 hours each. I used them 24/7 all this time. When they no longer kept a longer charge I kept using them only at home. When they got down to about 4 hours it was time to say good bye.

There are no other batteries that last that long.

Good morning. So, I won't be doing any watering today! It started raining late last night and hasn't stopped since.

I just opened my Zlide and it didn't turn off my Solo. I think it was a coincidence that Willie's turned off. Actually, my Solo has shut itself off at random times that doesn't make sense to me. Not very often, but it does happen.

I have had my Solo shut off on it's own occasionally. I learned to check the battery cover (that screws in). Every time it was loose. Not loose enough to come off, but loose enough to loose connection.

Another gloomy rainy start for the day..but I don't mind at all...it saves me from watering the flower gardens

Going on a shopping spree this afternoon..haven't done that in a few weeks...I'll be like a kid in a candy store

Woke up to 55o .. it's around 60o now .. torrential rain during a few periods yesterday ..

Mixed up some menthol liquid yesterday ..

I'm hittin' that new PV pretty hard the last day or two .. dealing with some stress .. can it take it or does it need to rest more than 5 minutes between every 3-4 hits .. ??

Still no word from Sandra ..
