Lots of other stuff going on. PMTA has to be applied for before Sept. and the states are doing individual stuff to stop sales. Unless a miracle happens, I think most stuff will be finished by Sept. Willie, it's much more than sending 'stuff' through the USPS system.
Ecig h/w and liquid sellers have until Sept. 9th to file PMTA for their products. If 'not approved' the product must be pulled from the market. The approval process is very expensive and requires tons of information about the effects of the product on a human using it and the chemicals produced as a by product of vaping. To make matters worse the FDA is being kind of open ended on just what needs to be in the PMTA and what level of detail. The culture of vaping as we know it today can drastically change come September.

Well, Frannie, I get it .. but, to my way of thinking, companies that have invested heavily, have fairly deep pockets and had a good amount of time to prepare for what comes down the pike, will get through it and move forward ..
In America, money finds a way .. it always has .. who knew you'd be able to stock your liquor stash with the click of a mouse 10-20 years ago .. ??
Vaping is a growth Industry, at least it was .. I just don't think it's going away .. and, as much as I hate to say it, I'm all for PMTA .. who wouldn't be .. ??

By the way, I mark my batteries like that, too. I no longer count on being able to figure these things out on the spur of the moment.
It is much more complicated, Willie. For example, each flavor, each different nicotine ratio or anything the slightest bit different requires a separate PMTA. Estimate to submit just one is like 350k with no guarantee it will be approved. So if you wanted to get 30 flavors approved with 3 different nicotine ratios, I will let you do the math.
I think others have tried to explain, but, basically, IMHO, probably.
Each individual piece, everything. Any change (improvement even for safety) needs it's own individual PTMA, costing hundreds of thousand dollars each with no guarentee it will pass and be able to be sold. If companies don't comply, I can only imagine the fines, perhaps jail time? Who knows? I have a hunch China will find ways around it for awhile (labeling packages as toys, electronic parts, jewelry, game controller to name a few declarations I have received on packages), but I am stocked up and should not need anything that requires a PTMA after September.
Better to be safe than sorry, these companies can't afford the cost of the requirements, especially when they will probably be rejected. Get a few backups, PLEASE!!!!!! And stock up on coils!!!!!!

I haven't used one yet. But Janet has, and she thinks it has a slight edge in flavor over the Zenith tank.

Good morning. It's 80 and very humid and overcast this morning. Fortunately the heavy clouds didn't mess up viewing the ISS last night. Probably not going to get a chance to see it again for several days with the hurricane/storm comes up the coast.
I haven't paid attention, but now you have me curious. I think it could be handy as an indicator of when to change the coil. Sometimes I'm not sure if my taster is off or the coil needs changing. Just changed the coils a few days ago so when I change again I'll watch it.
Oh, and you're right about the following the money. There will always be the black market, but I'd rather not deal with it and the possibility of either high prices or not being able to get what I want. Mike is a super prepared boy scout so at this point I'm not worried for us.

Woke up to the mid 60's .. it's about 69o now .. dramatic change .. gloomy, rain off and on ..
146 puffs on the counter since I posted yesterday .. liquid has barely moved / power still at 100% on the bar .. moved to 6.5 last night ..
I'm sporadically using a Spinner with a 2.2 coil/EVOD at 3.5 Volts .. it produces about the same vapor as the Solo .. yet (and it may just be in my head), the Solo / Zlide seems to deliver more nic .. I can't really describe it other than to say a few puffs off the Solo and I can feel the nic hit my system .. only doing 8mg / 70PG/30VG unflavored ..
I suppose a flavored liquid would be a better test ..
How many puffs do you guys average in a 24 hour period .. ?? I've never had a puff counter till now, so it's a bit fascinating ..
