There's huge wild turkeys that come thru from the woods to clean up the seed on the ground...wish I could get a pet one and hook it to a chain....wait...then I'd have to clean up it's "droppings"

Heck, just hose it in, good fertilizer ;)

I generally carry my Solo/zlide in my shirt pocket, yes, it tends to make the shirt look lopsided but what do I care .. ?? At any rate, a few times, the power up/down has rested against something, maybe a pen I guess, and it went up to 100 and I did not know it .. that is, until I took a hit .. surprisingly, it did not fry the coil, I just moved it back to 6.5 and it was still all good .. Go figure ..

Uh, it does have a lock mode, where it won't change the setting. A tad tricky, though. Press the middle of the up/down button for a few seconds, and it will lock / unlock. If it takes off on a setting change, reset to where yhu want and try again. When successful, a little padlock will appear just below and right of the set point. I carry in a belt holster, and have run into the same problem now and then.

Good morning. It's a gorgeous morning. I'm celebrating because yesterday was the first day I wore sandals! Woohoo! Man was it windy, but it was a soft wind and helped to dry us out after all the rain.

We've noticed that our Solos will sometimes turn themselves off, seemingly for no reason. Not often, but it has happened. I just click the top button 5 times and it's back on. I've had other PVs in my pocket and I'll bend over or squat and I'll suddenly hear a funny noise and realize the PV is firing in my pocket! I'd much rather it shut itself off.

Thanks @DavidOck ! I didn't know that. I was able to use a fingernail to press the little line between the up and down buttons and voila! Little padlock!

Actually what you are trying to do, is push the up and down at the same time. I find it easiest to put one thumb on the top of the button and one thumb on the bottom of the button and press until the lock icon come on/off.

Yep, any way you can mash the up/down together works :)

Morning all. 45 atm, heading into the 60s. Well, probably low 60s ;)

Good morning. Another rainy day here with strong storms scheduled for this afternoon. We just got dried out! Are these the April showers here in March?

The left side of my throat got sore yesterday and I don't feel so hot. Weird. Still that way this morning. I have no energy. Naturally my first thought was could it be C19, but it's not. This is proof there still are regular illnesses happening, but nobody hears about them these days. Even the seasonal flu seems to have disappeared. Think I'm just going to have another lazy day today which seems like a good plan for a rainy day.

    Happy Sunday?

Hope whatever ails you goes away quickly, Janet! No fun!

I have read that some (many?) docs think the minimal flu season can be attributed to the lockdowns and masks. Not surprising that air borne bugs get slowed down that way.

Seems our late summer is over, back to spring like weather. I.e. rain.

Hi Janet! We're having the same weather here! I've been wondering about all the rain here in March also .So I'm just hoping that spring is springing early this year. I wanna go outside n play in my gardens!
And even more hopeful that it doesn't turn back into winter weather:D
Get well quick !Have Mike whip you up some chicken noodle soup and a hot toddy!

It only got down to 12.1v, betcha if I got a better quality battery it might make it. We'll see. My motorcycle has been dead for a couple years from inactivity, guess I'll swap the trickle over to this.
Any fellow riders here? Me and a few other folks came here by way of motorcycle forums.

Not for a verrrry long time. I knew the times they were a-changing when I sold my last motorcycle for a new washer and dryer for our first house.

    Good morning!

Beautiful sunshine again! I'm gonna chance putting the bird feeders back outside in a while. Oh..and there's a wild turkey ( a HUGE one!) that regularly pecks on the neighbor's car door next door every morning!!! Glad my bedroom's not close to his driveway!
Umm..maybe it wants to go for a ride?!

I'm afraid that if my truck got pecked regularly, fresh turkey would be on my menu tout suite ..
