OK, Tigger choking Frosty the Snowman, and smiling .. ?? While I'm not a huge Frosty Fan (I do like a Wendy's Frosty sometimes .. ;)) .. I must insist the violence come to an end .. ;) .. when the Tigers and the Snowmen go at it, we've finally reached the tipping point .. ;) .. and, lastly, what chance does a Snowman have against those odds .. ?? ;)

Meet Me in St Louie Louie
Let me again take a minute this week to say thanks for joining in .. during the Holiday season, I know many of you are busy and time is limited .. it does mean a lot to me to see you here .. :)

I want to make a special note to Bea and her Husband .. Bea :: You posted about your loss and with it, the loss of your Holiday spirit .. First, I want to say, if you don't know it already, there are quite a few of us here that have gone thru the same thing, and, I think I can speak for some in saying, it's hard .. so hard .. I try and get thru the Holiday season by putting on a façade and trying to stay as involved as I can with things .. it makes it no less difficult .. many times, I just see this part of the year as another marker in Time, and not much more ..

Mainly, I just want to say to you that you're not alone .. it's not much, but it's what I offer .. and I offer that same sentiment to any and all that have gone thru great loss that is always there, somewhere, no matter what ..

Please post freely, convey your thoughts, issues, the good, the bad ..

And cherish what you have in the Now .. no matter how little or how much, the goods that surround us are just the baggage .. it's the Friends and the Family that this season is all about .. hold them close ..

That's how we get through it too. It helps...sometimes and at other times one must just shut the world away and survive as best as one can.

And I do know several ECF members with whom I've become friends through our shared loss of a child. I cherish these friends as well as all the other friends I have been fortunate to make through this forum.

Well, at least there's never been any indication that Tigger eats carrots :)

This is the only thing that I don't pay for online...;) I guess they've had a lot of problems with people in the past, so the lease specified either cashiers check or money order. I talked to them today about using bill pay through my bank, and was given the info to do so in the future...when I get past this bump in the road....however, she told me that the bank sends the payments through the mail!! At least it won't be so hard to issue an immediate stop payment with the bank. Grrr...ECF is fouling up...shouldn't be showing in bold type...

But if the bank messes up they pay the late charges! If your landlord accepts electronic payments you eliminate the need to use the USPS. If they don't accept electronic payments tell them to get with it!! It's 2017!!

I can't believe your bank doesn't make electronic payments! In 2017?

I pay all my bills electronically except for my property tax and car tags which I pay cash. The advantage of electronic paying, besides all that has been brought up here, is that no one outside the bank gets to see your credit card number or your checking account number. For me that's peace of mind in these days of identity theft. After I make payments I snap a screen picture of each payment because it shows amount, payee and date the payment will be issued…an electronic receipt of sorts. I save this pic in the laptop in a folder marked receipts. I don't print them to save paper and toner but I back up every week on two thumb drives.

Well, we can put up the Christmas tree now, the Nativity is setup. Janet always likes to do it before any of the other holiday decorating.

@Uncle Willie, for you setting on the camera, plus Janet was illuminating the manager with a Streamlight 700 Lumen Tac Light.

Family dinner wasn't in the cards for today:(. Multiple sick grandkids and parents. So the hubs and I had more leftovers and more football. WTH am I supposed to do with 3 pies and a type 2 diabetic in the house?

Oh no. I hope they all feel better quickly. Could they come for dessert later in the week? Or, I could run right over and help you out...

Or if Janet cant make it over for desert, can you freeze them? Better yet is there a free store close by or an elderly person or two who would appreciate them?
