Yeah, not here in the burning bummer of the South either. Next one is something like 5 years away. It will be visible in a strip across the USA. I'll see that one even if I have to drive to it.

Notice totality passes just south of Portland. I can do that. And, gawd forbid, I'm still stuck here, not that long a drive either.

I have some friends in NM and Arizona that were hoping to catch sight of it today...they were talking about it elsewhere's. It would be cool to see.
The headache from the BP being too high? Oh, yes, please do have him call the doctor.
I missed your post jj, but the headache with elevated pressure sounds like something to worry about. I'm sorry to hear this. Maybe a massage would help temporarily to relax him? I would think layin' down would be a good thing.....
