Scooping. That's how I use them. For scooping. At least until I can find the fork that I've dropped on the floor, lol.

It's easy to master!! Just pinch them between your fingers and....squeeze.

The German way is to cut with a knife in one hand and use the fork in the other...none of this switching utensil in the same hand business. Wastes too much time.

The Germans are an efficient bunch.

BTW i can use chopsticks but usually i am happier using my hands to eat big piece of meat, specially BBQ ribs

Son grilled, DIL helped him.
Everyone was sweet and put dishes in the dishwasher.
Then they had to run to get to the store for this weeks sales stuff before it closes.

Now it's time to walk the doggie and do the final cleanup in the kitchen.
