I had friends with a heated pool - it was quite nice. At least for me - not so much for them when they got the electric bill - it ran into numbers I didn't know possible for electric bills. That was the last November I swam with them, needless to say.
It's not electric, it's LP and we fill the 500 (which you can't really fill) about every three or four years so it's not too bad.
Ok, plugins updated. Now I'm here, but I'm having trouble with Facebook tonight. I'm watching the little ball go 'round and 'round and 'round.

We put the pool heater in the first year because we weren't ready to give it up. We were in it until the end of October and it was like 40 degrees out. The neighbors thought we were nuts!!!
