I wish I could do that tomorrow. But, (TaDah!!!), plans for a PNW vacation later this year are firming up. Two weeks, after Labor Day. Not set in concrete yet, but looking good.

You have no idea Lis, just how much I want to make it permanent. When I returned from my 2007 vacation (gawd, five years ago), I said I wouldn't go back until it was permanent. I haven't been able to pull the move off yet and I'm really jonesing for a PNW fix. So, if I can pull THAT off, it will help me.

Yeah, kinda neat. There are a couple police departments here in Florida that use smarts downtown. Not gonna catch a Viper ... but, then that's what radio and spikes are for, heh.

Smarts are becoming more popular for police departments in urban duties. Better than the glorified golf carts common in the past. No need for speed when it comes to parking tickets and such. It's just a matter of economics (and comfort of the officers).
