They might be "low place" friends, Jag....I know my daughter is always complaining that people she doesn't like and family she doesn't care for send her friends' requests, and she does not quite know what to do....so she accepts. That is the reason I have caller I.D. That is my way of "not accepting" a relationship.

Some of them are real friends, very good friends. Those I'll keep for life. :)

Which brings up another of my problems with FB. The reason I let my first account expire was that I was bombarded with friend requests from people with whom I'd never communicated in any fashion. Nutz, I said to myself ... and didn't touch it for more than a year. People on FB "collect" friends, strive for an enourmous friends list, the vast majority of which they know nothing. No thank you.

I got plenty of friends already.....even tho they leave when I enter the forum!!:D That is probably what would happen to me on facebook....they would close their facebook account if I showed up.

I have friends like that. I cherish them, and always will. But, I don't have a clue whether they're on FB, or not, and don't care. They were friends before FB was created, and they'll be friends for life.

Wow, NCC, I feel flattered now. You accepted my Friends Request on 4-1-2011 shortly after we met in the Sandbox. What, for gosh sakes, were you doing the Sandbox anyway? LOL! Remember, you told me how to use ThumbsPlus too.

I guess I just don't "get it" when it comes to Facebook. Not knocking those who love it. To each their own.

There you go! :thumb:

I had to move my FB noti to an Email i dont use, too many games request every day , i just use my FB account when i want to read something on a page that ask me for a FB account or when ECF has a 503 we have a little group there

You can turn off some notifications too, a lot of customizing you can do. :)

And there's the difference Sea. We communicated before a friend request was made. :)

I investigated your Friends Page first, NCC to make sure you weren't a pervert. I got a chuckle out of a couple of your replies and thought you were freaky enough to send a request to. Besides, how many days did we use the Sandbox as a chat room, LOL?

Well....as much as I love it here, I have a busy day tomorrow. Going on a trip with a friend who has her annual check up with her Dr. who is 70 miles away...I volunteered to ride with her for company. And of course...the daily plant watering. It is always something....I think I may be looking forward to the "home"...sitting in my little room doing nothing except waiting for them to cook my meals.

Good night hugs to everyone...hope to be able to work the forum back into my life soon.

Sea, for most of my life I've envied the things "dirty old men" get away with ... you know, flirting with young ladies and they just laugh it off.
Now, I'm an old guy myself, and somehow I can't bring myself to be the dirty old man. <sigh>
My perversions must remain in my mind.

NCC, you're not getting old til you get to 70.:) I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you're not even 60 yet. Oldness is all in the mind anyway - and the joints in some pp, lol. So if you stop eating meat, you won't have aches in the joints and you can be young again!:)
