Presents are wrapped, bows are tied, and it will soon be time for a party -- after I get my new "brown" pants out of the dryer. No one will want to sit next to me at the brunch after my shower in clorox... 
. Neighbor called about 4 babies in her garage. Two have bad eye infections, one will probably be blind in one eye. Upon examination I could see lice, fleas, and probable ringworm. Came home and stripped in the garage, threw my clothes in the laundry with bleach (my new black pants are now brown 
). Don't know what is going to happen to these kittens as I cannot take them. Lesson learned: Always put on the crappiest clothes you own when someone calls about "found" kittens...

Classic LP Lis, but 19th Century? heh. Released in 1971, when I was in High School, Tapestry is multi-Platinum. And, I, along with millions of others helped keep it at the top of Billboard's Top LPs chart, like forever! I bought the vinyl version several times and still have a copy of the CD.
It was part of the soundtrack of my High School years. Classic stuff, it's on my car's mp3 player too. I guess the Class of '72 was born in the wrong century, along with you Lis.
Were the kittens orphans? Would seem strange for them to be in that condition if their mother was around. Sad to hear, but thanks for caring.

Hi NCC and hi Lis. I feel the same way, I should have been born in 1849 instead of 1949. Yes, I am a geezer.
Thought y'all would like to know this. At the reunion open vaping was unquestioned. The first night, at the bar, I asked before partaking and the response was one of those, yeah, why do you bother asking, duh? Kind of responses.
There was another vaper there. And, I answered questions from a number of people interested either for themselves or for loved ones. Sorry for the off topic post. I'm not at public events much and was pleased with the response. 100% positive.
