Aloha on the Beach. Had to check in to see how Sun, NCC and Lis were doing with Debby's weather condition. I saw Sun's watery pics - yowza, that's a lot of water.

I couldn't find any purple avatars in my library for Sun's announcement of animal cruelty awareness week, but I did find one with a purple sky, so until I find one, this will have to do.

Hi Sea! :)
I'm not seeing the image.

EDIT: Oh my gosh, I just realized that my color deficiency may be the culprit, LOL. Your avatar, does it have a purple sky?

What colors vary for you NCC. My father's colors varied, and his were difficulties b/t orange and red; and differences b/t greens and blues. Perhap your are b/t blues and purples?

How's your weather? Are you scared?

My color vision is called Red/Green color deficiency.
If purple isn't really heavy in the red, I see it as blue.
If brown isn't really heavy in red, I see it as green.
Red is not a vivid color to me. A red rose in a bush is not obvious to me until I see its form.
Blue is the most vivid color to my eyes .. .it is my red.

Just a quick fly by. Hi NCC and hi Sea. That's a beautiful avatar Sea, I love it. :)

Jerry, I wish you were sitting beside me right now trying to teach me FaceBook. I've got a Facebook: The Missing Manual book here, and I just can't seem to get interested in it or in FB.:(

I'm trying to learn to use it for my son, daughter and Oregon relatives. They keep urging me to join them on FB. I don't want to be a brat, but I just can't get into it.:(

Sea, color vision tests. Go here ...
Red-Green Color Blindness Test | Two Docs' Color Vision Tests
I see absolutely no patterns in those blotch tests, except for the first one, and that's a stretch.

EDIT: you know what? That's a more sophisticated test than I'm accustomed to seeing. Aimed specifically at the target Red/Green color deficiency. And, on looking that the splotches ... I find that I'm NOT seeing some of what they claim I should see. Perhaps I've been misdiagnosed.

Or, my doctors might be more reliable than a web site. Food for thought. I'm a bit puzzled after viewing those splotches and their descriptions.

I see you've been Google Imagine bizarre smarts, LOL. For what it's worth, the monster smart is real, the track smart is Photoshopped.

I see colors Sea. Just not the same as people with normal color vision. For the record, it is genetic, and gender related. 10% of men are color deficient, while only 0.5% of women are.

I was googling for a copy of a pic my cousin sent to me in an email of a cat doing a somersault. I wanted to leave it for Sun for the morning, and a Smart came up in the screen. I laughed and wondered what other funny paint jobs they have for Smarts. They are such darling little cars - makes we want one of them.:)

It's getting late there NCC - I didn't mean to keep you. Your little froggy avi is cute. It looks like he's staring at me.
