Well we are in a ozone alert. They have asked us to not drive our cars, mow our yards, or put gas in the car until after 6:30 and that is for the next two or three days. Yeah all that is going to happen!

Again, real life is keeping me busy...more watering...supposed to get over 100 here tomorrow. And only a couple of inches of rain in the last 2 months. My grass looks like straw....wish Sun could have sent some of that wet stuff our way. Still fighting the freakin' gazillions of Japanese Beetles, my daughter is having problems with her middle son....lazy, no ambition, thinks life consists of playing video games and hanging with his friends....even worse than the average teen. So I have been dealing with her problem--she calls mom when she is stressed. Anyway....I have not had time to get on and chat any length of time....but I still love youse guys.

Do you own a sledgehammer? Do you have something you can smash to smithereens? Great therapy. Teenagers.... some it helps to take away everything they own, others it doesn't. About the only advice I can give for her is to stand behind what she says. Don't threaten anything that she is not going to back up, so she needs to decide just how far she is willing to go with things..... Poor thing. How old is this grandson?

I'm hot and I'm tired. Patio is pretty much done. Housework still calls. I still have tomorrow but don't want to have to do everything left in one day and would like to go to lunch with a girlfriend on Friday instead of doing finish work. Ahhhh... now I need to come up with a menu for eight.... going to look online....
I got some stuff around here that is going to have to be done. In a few days, we are going to have a rainy three or four days so I figured I'd do it then when I can't get outside.

That sounds good for another night. I think I will make avocado stuffed with shrimp salad and water rolls since I can make the shrimp salad in the morning and just be ready to cut and stuff the avocados. I know.... you don't like those do you? Dessert: Fresh sliced strawberries with the honey and heavy cream.... and lots of wine
Is the yard all pretty now.
Only a little yard work, walked 3 miles instead. The lawn has to wait for tomorrow.
