what do you folks do for July the 4th??

Every year we have a pool/barbecue party at which the liquor flows freely with buckets of beer, pina coladas, margaritas, and strawberry daquiris. Expecting around 30-40 people this year.... family, volunteers from the pet rescue, friends from the neighborhood and work... it's a fun time and gives us a chance to have a laid back good time! People party, some get toasted, some eat too much, some eat too little, most swim, and some fall sleep under the palm tree It's all good and everybody does just what they want!

Good Morning Beach!

Everyone is still asleep -- shhhhh! Picnic is prepared and waiting for all to wake so we can go beachy-beachy for the morning/early afternoon. Then maybe onto Old Town or The Fort in St. Augustine.... Everyone have a great day!

Just got the news one of my uncles passed today at the age of 70. He was diagnosed with cancer just a month ago. I was not close to him, yet can't help but feel...mortal. One day here, next, no more. Here's a song for him...
