Cleaning some and doing cat laundry and clothes for this week..... boring stuff....
thank heavens I went out last night and pulled and sprayed those weeds. It has been raining now since about noon, often quite hard. Water is already up to the top of the skimmers 
When I know it's getting to the top of the skimmer of the pool, I tell DH to go out and back flush.

Please do not apologize for the conversation last night. Talk of war did not bother me. And even if it did me personally, it is no reason for you not to talk about it amicably. War is tragedy on a mass scale and on each person's individual level. Your posts were enlightening and heart wrenching. Thank you for sharing them. They say just bringing the stories out can be part of the long healing process.
All I am trying to do is keep things pleasant, so that all of us have a place to relax and enjoy each other's company. We all have strong beliefs and politics happens to be one of the focal points of such beliefs. I have lost good, long time friends in the real world due to seemingly insignificant, political disagreements. The conversations usually started innocently, with a smile, and then, we simply talked no more...ever.
I apologize to all for my idiosyncrasies. And I am flattered by your continued visits, my friends. Thank you.

Hi Jag. I just posted something really pleasant over on the wellness thread. I have a friend who just opened an organic grocery store last September and she shared an interesting link regarding the FDA and food, supplements, drugs, etc. We might very well find ourselves adding ecigs into the same boat in the future...

btw -- totally understand wanting things to remain pleasant. That is why we come here.... for fun and interesting conversation. There are some members in my own family I won't discuss politics with....

Glad you are speaking. I didn't speak to my brother for over a year after he yelled, " You are stupid, stupid, stupid" at me right in the middle of a packed restaurant after he brought up a subject and I disagreed with his opinion. Needless to say, I left him there looking like a fool with everyone staring at him. Served him right!
