Ok, folks, there is something that I want to bring up for your consideration. Sea and I have been discussing International Talk Like a Pirate Day, September 19th.

We would like to do a pirate theme on this thread on that day, avatars and the like. What say the good people on the Beach?

I can't talk like a pirate but I have an avi for it!

I've heard of it, but don't know where it is exactly, probably on the east side of the Cascades? I'm the worst tour guide you can find for where I live. If you visit other states, I can tell you where to go.

Just one final one for you - do you have any idea of where this might be. The photographer did not say what aree of the OR coast this was.

Just one final one for you - do you have any idea of where this might be. The photographer did not say what aree of the OR coast this was.

The pic doesn't show on the thread, but I saw it on their site. The most famous one here is Sea Lion Caves, but there are hundreds of caves on the coast where they could have snapped this. I don't know.

10th anniversary of International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Wednesday, Sept. 19th.

This day is practically a religious holiday on some people's poop deck - a day when they're up to their scuppers in flintlocks, cutlasses, eye patches and parrots.
